Stayed on a Monday after Easter & loved that there was no one around. The location is great and right across from the lake (even tho it was cold & windy while we were there) We just wanted to chill & the sauna was the perfect answer. There were massages on premises if you wanted. The front desk girl, I'm sad to say, I didn't get her name, but she was delightful & very helpful. She definitely helped make us feel welcome. The suites are spacious & supplies were more than we expected for our stay. I will definitely come back to spend more time when a getaway is in need!

Our room was cold. The heater, although, was turned to 80C, never got warm. There wasn't a breakfast. The closest attached restaurant was closed M-W. Our room flooded from the storm. The bathtub whirlpool jets shot out some black gunk into the bathtub. There wasn't a desk in the room to some work on my laptop. Highboy chair was too uncomfortable. Needed an ottoman for the couch. Our room wasn't stock with forks and spoons. Only a couple of knives. We were hoping to at least get flowers on our bed or even an acknowledgement of our 25th Year Anniversary. The only nice thing about our stay was the room's view of the lake.

The rooms were clean and updated. Everything was in good working order. The room staff took great care of us, replenishing what we had used, they even washed our dishes once! Maybe we were just a little ahead of the travel season, but the hotel seemed pretty empty. There was never anyone at the front desk. We only saw one other guest the whole time we were there. It would have been nice to know when booking through Expedia that the pool was not in service, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us. The comfort level of everything was good, but not great. The bed was like a 7.5 out of 10. Overall, we had a nice stay, and I would stay there again.

We've stayed there every year for a number of years and it is one of "our" places, but this visit left a bad taste in our mouth. The fridge died, and had a LOUD buzzing sound on the defrost button that interrupted sleep.....and we lost our snacks! The toilet had a leaky "floater," and we had to close the bathroom all the time due to the sound. The lights burned out overhead in the kitchenette, and the other lights were INSANE BRIGHT LED bulbed lights. The worst was the pool area, which is actually why we always book there. The pool had a smell and a tint, and the hot tub was really gross. The hot tub is normally my looooooveeee when I visit and we've lounged, had adult beverages and enjoyed how piping hot it is.....after we visit the sauna. The hot tub was an odd tint and lightly green, with a ton of gross foam on it and it smelled. I lasted 5 minutes, and this is as it is usually a treat! It made me sad as we've gone every year, but something is clearly going downhill. I've never had a "list" of things going wrong anywhere I've stayed and I'm not a complainer - but for the location and cost, it's a concern.

The pool area wasn’t what I thought just basic and out dated there was no restaurant or food options and no bar as advertised the rooms were nice and clean staff was friendly it was peaceful and quiet the building is a little out dated but very clean

Room 309 was clean. Toilet paper was thin and rough. Hair dryer needed a longer cord. There was no luggage rack to use in our room. The sheets on the bed were not soft. The room was hot even when we turned the heat down. Parking lot view, which was loud when people closed car doors etc. TV was a bit difficult to use.
