Noisy - Room needs a white noise machine. You can hear conversations from other rooms and people coming back late at night. Night light or dimmer switches - This room needs a night light or dimmer switches. Brought my elderly mother and sister with me and they needed access to the bathroom at night. We had to leave the bedroom door open with the full light on because there was no other dim light available. You couldn’t leave the door ajar slightly because it wouldn’t stay still. You had to leave it fully open which was too much light. Heat - It was hard to control the heat in the room between the fireplace and the heater. The heater wouldn’t provide enough heat at night. And, the fireplace left the room too hot. There isn’t a control for the fireplace. Family wasn’t able to sleep the whole night. Refund - was planning to stay 2 nights. I had asked for a refund for the second day since there was an incoming snowstorm warning on the WeatherChannel where 6-10 inches of snow would be expected the next day. The second night would have cost around $280 and the manager denied the request for the full refund. Only got $100 back which is not even half of the cost of what would be the cost of the second night. This is not the way to keep customers coming back to your property especially when you know that there is incoming dangerous weather coming the next day. Not booking with Expedia again since their loyalty is to the property and not the customer.
