The lodge was spacious and the living areas comfortable. The outside deck is nice for a campfire. There was plenty of parking but there is no access to the lake.

Awesome location for a bachelorette weekend

The house was spacious and had a great deck and place to have a campfire. I would definitely recommend for a group that likes to sit by the fire and have a couple of beers. The location also had a big game room with twin beds, making it perfect for a family, and we would consider this for future trips. This is very close to Lake George Boat Rentals and Up North deli which was ideal for our group. Would definitely stay here again.

Fun Family Vacation

Rooms are a nice size. Couch big enough for all 8 of us comfortably. Plenty of channels to pick from on the big screen tv and lots of games on the bunk room tv to occupy teens. Plenty of parking space. We spent a few nights on the deck with a campfire, traffic was a little loud at times. Overall we had a great time.

Would definitely stay again!

The Lazy Bear Lodge was perfect for my group of friends as we had my bachelor party here! There was plenty of space to fit all 8 of us comfortably and it had two ideal entertaining set ups in the family room and bed room. The deck and fire pit area was a ton of fun to relax by at night and the outdoor bar space worked well for playing games.The location was perfect being between the town of Lake George And Bolton Landing although there is no easy way to get to the water walking from the location. The house was very clean and the owner Rick went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and to give us recommendations in the area. Whether planning to come up with family or a group of friends, this lodge is an affordable, convenient, and wonderful option to meet all your needs at Lake George!

Lake George and Ski Trip Weekend

We were two families staying at Lazy Bear Lodge II for a visit to Lake George and Gore Mountain ski trip weekend. The lodge is close to town and a short drive to Gore (approximately 25 min). There was plenty of space for everyone! The property was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There is plenty of parking for bigger groups too. We had a couple questions shortly after we arrived at the lodge to which Rick was very responsive and helpful! We would like to come back and check out Lazy Bear Lodge I next time!

Comfy and Relaxing

This was such a great place to stay. We came for the eclipse!! Everything super easy!! From finding it, communication with owner, getting in and out of location. We travel with two dogs and the spaciousness of this place made it such a nicer place to stay for us as they could chase each other around without harming anything. It was just my husband and myself and our 2 dogs but this place is great for an extended family, family reunion, lots of friends. We had friends come over from the area one night and we sat out on the deck which was so relaxing as it is gated and kids and dogs could just be themselves. It is on a busy road during the day but set back enough for safety of our dogs. Huge parking lot too. Super clean!!! Bed we slept on so comfy!! Nicely decorated. We will come back with others. Thanks.

The lodge is quite spacious. Huge couch in the living room makes a nice comfortable gathering spot.We had a noisy pump issue our first night but Rick came by to resolve quickly once we alerted him to the problem.The lodge has a distinct hunting lodge feel with antler light decor. The well-water sulphur smell was very prominent. Decor was not quite our jam, but to each his own.This lodge is a good spot for a large group to spread out when exploring Lake George decor not withstanding. Rick is a great host who will treat you well.
