Clean but not much else

Room very dated. Towels were the size of face towels and rough like sand paper. Need to replace with new bath size towels. Air conditioner switch did not work had to unplug to turn it down. Remote for TV did not work. Shower was missing the head although it still worked okay. Need to put some money into fixing the place up.

My stay at Drake

Old and in need of a lot of repair. Clean and good for a night's stay and hot shower.

We asked for our money back and didn't stay.

Orbitz confirmed room 10 which had a queen bed. Upon arrival we were told it was not available. The room we were given had two doubles in two rooms, it was not clean including dried coffee in the coffee maker and stained sheets. We asked for our money back and left an hour after we arrived. The manager was apologetic but besides dirty, one of the window screens had been cut off and the bathroom window wouldn't close. We just couldn't stay. This was a Friday night around 5pm and we had to drive a few hours to find a vacancy. Only time Orbitz has ever failed us. I could not recommend this place to anyone. In fact I would say avoid it. I believe we will get our money back.

Motel has seen better days but it was OK

Check-in was a bit funky but once we got settled in all was well. We asked for a couple of more pillows and they brought them right up. Pool was great for the kids.

Always alone!

THe place was old. No person on duty until restaurant opened for dinner. Was not given any paperwork, no phone number to call. I arrived Sunday & Monday morning there was no towels! Afternoon there was no room service yet. Having no office or people around what could I do? No other person renting a room the whole time. My car pointed to my room like an arrow and I was afraid being the restaurant had a bar. I left early because I heard women laughing in the middle of the night. Nobody around, I left a message written on a piece of paper saying I wanted my paperwork. Their answer was he had to go to town &he will email me.

At least they had wifi to find a new hotel

I had booked a room well in advance, got a confirmation number and assumed all was well. We called about an hour and a half before our arrival time, and was told all was fine. We showed up only to be told they actually didn't have a room open and we had to find a new place to stay, but they would allow us to stay in a different room for the one night only. My job requires my phone be on me at all times, and they claim to have called multiple times, which was false (remember, we called them an hour and a half before to confirm we were coming and got NO word we didn't have a room... Or we wouldn't have gone there!!) The room was outdated(there is not flatscreen TVs as claimed), the fridge wasn't plugged in and the whole area smelled musty. Stick to staying in a chain hotel or motel, where they may just have their life in order a bit better so you're not in a lurch with no place to stay.
