We absolutely love The ADK Trail Inn! This is where we stay anytime we are up that way, the rooms are super cozy and always really clean and comfortable. Just an amazing place for a quiet weekend getaway!

Great for hikers!

Excellent stay! Very flexible in supporting hikers - grab and go breakfast made the night before. A banana would make a nice addition. The pizza on Saturday was amazing! Friendly and helpful owners!

Another great stay at the Trail Inn. Clean and cozy room, easy check-in, and really conveniently located for doing anything in the high peaks region. My favorite place to stay when I come up to do a hike.

Peaceful Location

Great location at an affordable price for the area, was a great location, great breakfast spot and dinner spot right down the road, close to whiteface, lake placid, & saranac, also close to Keene. Pretty quiet area near a river, also has a rec room but no TVs in the room.

The inn is kind of ramshackle. We stayed in "Wilderness." The private bathroom had been updated (though the workmanship was rough), but the rest of the room was just old and worn. We realized that we should have brought food to cook for breakfast after seeing the paper bag breakfast provided (need a hearty breakfast before a big hike.) There was coffee in the lobby in the morning but with a sign not to fill large cups, so maybe go to Stewart's if you like more than a 12 oz cup. I will find a better option for my next trip to the Adirondacks.

The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. I needed to study for an exam a night and they accomodated me in the restaurant, checked on me, made sure amI was comfortable and even left the lights and ac on for me when they closed up. The room was very comfortable and the place nice and quiet so you sleep well. Definitely recommend staying here!

Friendly staff and great price affordable . Closer to lake placid and other scenic spots. They have restaurant on site open on Monday-Tuesday and grilled burgers were awesome, especially the vegan .

Room was very comfortable but paint was peeling and was a bit worn. Walls very thin so could hear talking from other rooms.Unfortunately we tried to go to restaurant but it was very crowded at 530pm so we went somewhere else, it looks nice! Check in was easy and everyone so nice .I would stay again but probably try for the lodge or end room , it would help to have a Keurig or coffee maker in room.PERFECT location for high peaks hiking !!! Cute fireplace outside and swing !!! People so NICE !!!

The packed breakfast is cute! And the little common dinning area is also cute and very quiet. The playroom is awesome, played some pool, ping pong and foosball! The Au Sable river running behind the property is also beautiful.

This is a really beautiful property. Close to all the restaurants and hikes. I was just there and hiked Whiteface Mt with my wife. I highly recommend this place. Especially because you’ll make new friends when they have a firepit outside

ADK Trail Inn was just what we needed for our first night in the SDk region. Close to trails, clean and homey accommodations, superior staff and even better property — it’s all by the river. We ate our thoughtfullly prepared brown bag breakfast by the rushing, boulder lined river and it was serene! We’d be back here in a heartbeat ! Take it all in!
