Great location

The LP Chalet house was perfect for our extended weekend with friends. We love this location as it’s close enough to town but gives you that off the path feel (especially if you come in on the dirt road lol).House was neat and everything was as described. John was great with communication. We hope to enjoy the home again in the future.

Charming, warm chalet that was perfect for a quick thanksgiving get away. Snow throughout the holiday was a bonus. The gas fireplace in living room was wonderful and the house has everything you’d need. Never got a chance to use the outdoor wood burning fire pit, maybe next time!

Comfortable and cozy Lake Placid stay!

The cabin was a lovely spot for 6 of us (ranging in age from 25 to 78). The screen porch and fire pit were favorites to gather! We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and the serene surroundings after our days of exploring and sightseeing. John was attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful stay and look forward to another stay in the future!

Lake Placid Hockey

Grandson was playing in CanAm hockey tournament so we needed a place to stay. I found this property and it was an excellent choice for our trip. House was located in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. The only draw back was cable was basic subscription and tv wasn’t able to stream our apps we have oh well Great host and spot.

Great house within minutes of all attractions

We stayed in this house with our two daughters (ages 9 and 12) over the President’s Day break. The house has everything we needed and is very well kept. The location is within a few minutes drive from all Lake Placid has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this property.

Pretty Adirondack Cottage

Adirondacks Get Away

My friend and I go to Adirondacks every year to hike the high peaks and enjoy the area. This cabin was perfect to accommodate us and the location was great with close access to trails and Lake Placid conveniences. The cabin is in a scenic and peaceful setting. I recommend.

Everyone happy including the dog

.It is a sweet place. Size is perfect for 5 adults. It was great to have 3 comfortable full or queen size beds. Gas fireplace heats the place quickly on a cold night after skiing. Walking the dog in the neighborhood was pleasant. We would definately stay agian.

Great Stay

There were 5 guests altogether. Very nice place. One person in our party was 6ft4in and had a bit of trouble going up and down stairs so just keep that in mind if you book. Everything else was great. Thank you so much.

Christmas in Lake Placid

The chalet had everything we needed for our Christmas visit. It even came with 5 inches of snow on Christmas Eve. The house was clean upon entering and very cozy to stay in. We loved the spiral staircase, heading up to the second floor. The fact that it had two bathrooms was great. The house was located on a very quiet road with access to some hiking trails close by. Very easy access to Lake Placid, white face, and some hiking. Loved the fact that it was pet friendly as we enjoy traveling with our four legged friends. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner. The living room was very cozy with a gas fireplace setting the tone. The owner even provided K cups for the coffee maker, which was a nice little add-on. Will definitely come back to stay again.

Very nice little place

The property was very nice. A few cobwebs but no big deal. The grill was only operable on one side. Again no big deal. Plenty of refills for everything, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, towels etc. This was much appreciated. I would return but if you have tall or bigger people with you, the upstairs may be difficult. Nice place overall. Thank you for the stay.

rustically relaxing cabin

Overall it was a good stay. Enjoyed the quiet space, The heated fire place was so nice. The day we were checking out moved furniture to clean floor. Found lots of debris that was not ours. Dont think it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Smashed water bottle under couch (we dont drink bottled water). Lost sock under upstairs bed. Vaccuum was very full and had not been emptied in quite some time. Few pots and pans dirty and rewashed. I would like to ask if someone could check linens put in laundry room for dog toy, large carrot. Have a pubby that is missing his toy. We do have a friend that lives nearby that could pick it up. Thank you

Great property & house

No peace and quiet whatsoever. Had to close all windows, doors and skylight to sleep at night. The back neighbor had a continuous loud party For our entire time there. 25-30 cars every night, professional DJ, bouncy house, Pool parties, Karaoke, and best of all professional fireworks at 9:00 on Saturday night directly over our rental. Overly Loud and obnoxious. Compressors running, lawnmowers, screw guns, hammers, yelling. Not the quiet ADK getaway we waited for all year along. Loud music was unbearable. I can tell you, They do like Bob seager, bruce springsteen and billy idol playing at 70db. Will stay in Wilmington next time

Perfect fall getaway

Charming Adirondack cabin that is very cozy and a great location. Easy access to mountain bike trails at Craig’s Woods. Thoroughly enjoyed indoor gas fireplace and had a campfire outside as well. Very grateful that it is pet friendly and look forward to our next visit.

Lovely stay in the mountains

We had a great trip! Enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the home was, yet conveniently located near town. It's perfect if you're looking for a more rustic accommodation and OK with a spiral staircase leading to the top two bedrooms. They home had everything we needed!

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely time in this chalet in the woods. Everything was as described. Neighborhood was QUIET which is exactly what we were looking for. Close and easy drive to lake Placid for supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the screened in porch was a very nice bonus. The cooking pots and pans could use updating - all are quite scratched up. Water pressure was good in shower. Communication with the host was terrific. Main bedroom is downstairs and as long as anyone staying upstairs is ok with the spiral staircase, it is a solid choice. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
