Welcome to Alpine Chalet! This beautifully appointed private home is centrally located off of Sahara Drive in Carnelian Bay, equal distance to Northstar and Palisades Tahoe and 3 minutes to Lake Tahoe.
Enter the home through the covered stairs to the side door on the second story. The expansive great room offers is furnished with an oversized sectional couch and dining table for eight. Large picture windows frame the south facing wall and bring the outside in. Rounding out this open concept floor is a bright and airy kitchen with breakfast bar for four and a sliding glass door that leads to a large wrap around deck with a private hot tub. Down the hall, two spacious king bedrooms shared a bathroom equipped with a bathtub/shower combo and double vanity sinks.
From the entry way, journey down the stairs to the ground floor. Two additional king bedrooms are offered and share a bath, mirroring the upstairs configuration. In addition, there is a fabulous bonus bedroom or den, perfect for the kids. They'll enjoy their own space at the end of the hall, which is perfectly designed for four little adventurers.
This playroom offers two twin trundle beds (sleeps 4 kids), a smart TV with Nintendo and Wii,
What we love about this property is the convenient location, extra large deck with pine tree views and hot tub, and modern and minimalist finishes throughout the home.

Rules to know:
-No over occupancy
-No pets unless specified
-No shoes on the carpet
-Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am; we can be flexible during slower time periods
-No parties or events
-All guests for adult vacations must be 25 years or older
-No street parking
-Quiet hours start at 9pm
-No campfires or charcoal grills
Guests are responsible for county fines if the property is sited during your stay. A full list of county rules are listed at the home.
Please remember that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
We will do everything we can to insure the hot tub is in working condition prior to arrival. In the event that the hot tub is inoperable during your stay, we offer a 10% discount on the nightly rate. No other discounts or concessions will be offered.
