Incredible Stay

Sledding Galore!

I brought my 3 kids, ages 13, 10 & 6. There was plenty of snow on the ground ski week. This property is isolated and has the best big hills to carve out a sled run. We sledded for two days straight just having a blast. The house itself is cozy, slept all 8 of us so comfortably. It is well stocked with kitchen equipment for preparing your own meals. We shopped ahead of time and were able to have fun and relax the whole time!

Secluded getaway, but not far from Truckee or Lake Tahoe

The house was great, if a bit further off the beaten track than I expected. Very conducive to a family and friends get together. The kitchen is well laid out and stocked with pretty much everything you'd need including many spices. The only downside was the heavy religious iconography throughout the house. Non-Christians will find it offputting.

overall very pleased, we will definitely be coming back — only quibble is the ping pong table is not a standard size or of high quality, and the dart board doesn’t have plastic tip darts that function, they instead have metal tip darts that are not compatible

Excellent house and location

The house has everything you need, we enjoyed it very much. The only thing I would add is a stereo of some sort, so be sure to bring one on your stay. Other than that, excellent.

Truckee Christmas 2022

We absolutely loved this property. We wanted to have a white Christmas with our grown children, their spouses and our grandkids and it could not have turned out better. No one wanted to leave. The house provided everything we needed and so much more. We are already trying to figure out how we can do it again.

Absolutely amazing experience

Absolutely amazing experience! My teenage kids and I had every fun imaginable in the snow. It is completely secluded and an absolutely beautiful and well appointed house with everything you need to have fun. There are snowshoes to go around and explore the property, beautiful hot tub, sleds, ping pong, pool table, games and fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom that made my family play together the entire time-seriously, three teenagers and no cell phones were used!!! You had 180 view of the winter wonderland outside from the master bedroom and our dogs even found a friendly lab who came to play too! We are so grateful to the owners for sharing their home with us, we will definitely be coming back here!

Beautiful property

We stayed at the home for 4 nights. Found the home to be very clean, well maintained, very nice. The highlight of the trip was snow shoeing throughout the property with our dogs. Be aware though if you bring dogs that there are two local friendly black labs that will probably visit. The owners have a bin of snow shoes in the garage which was great. The only downside of the trip was the ice. It was a little treacherous getting to the hot tub or in the front door.

Amazing House

This house is fantastic, especially the kitchen, living areas and outdoor spaces. It has a ton of games and movies. The hot tub is A+. Only things that were a little iffy: Wifi was super slow and the network/password we were told by the host was not the correct one, had to find the router in the closet to connect. There's bluetooth devices for playing audio through, luckily we brought a small speaker to listen to music with, but just make sure you have one if that's something you want. The house is pretty remote, which isn't a bad thing unless you want to easily go do things in downtown Truckee or Reno. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Beautiful private, secluded home

Our group of 7 had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! Everything was exactly as described. Excellent communication, convenient and easy check in and check out. Private, gated location, about 20 minutes from downtown Truckee. Highly recommended!

Perfect for the skiers and those relaxing at the cabin

Had it all as billed, beautiful great room with chapel high ceilings and fantastic stonework, fun game room and large high end hot tub, all in a peaceful setting on acreage. We were even able to pull our SUV with Skybox on top into the garage. Well worth the slightly further drive to the mountain to get back to the cabin and have everything we needed and wanted, and for the ones who relaxed at the cabin in lieu of hitting the slopes, they couldn't have asked for a better place. Sledding and hiking right out the front door and without leaving the property! We highly recommend, and Go Bruins!

Secluded and well built property

Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that this home appeared to be just that - a home. It didn't have bunk rooms or makeshift small rooms for extra sleeping arrangements in an attempt to squeeze the most out of a rental. Instead, this appeared to be a well built custom home with a family in mind. The quality of finish, windows, and doors was immediately obvious, and we felt very much at home here. The game room with pool table and arcade were a hit, as were the wraparound deck, hot tub, and hilly property perfect for multiple tubing runs or snowshoe exploring. The kitchen was well outfitted and comfortable for cooking, although the bar stools were a bit high for actual use at the bar. My only warning, and I want to note that it's not a complaint, is that the Hughes satellite Internet is so slow at to be nearly unusable. At times, it was entirely offline, and most of the time it was only slightly better than a dial up connection. I mention this just in case renters think they can work remotely or attend school - Zoom didn't work at all for us, except when both parties turned off video. The nice thing about staying at a property like this is that it feels so much like a home, it's easy to treat it that way. My hope is that renters will continue to treat it well so that everyone can enjoy this place as it was built to be enjoyed.

Location is amazing beautiful home with an excellent taste.

House is equiped with everything for kids and for adults beautiful windows that look out to nature. Gourges deck and walk way to jacuzzi. And lots of snow We will be back
