I booked a family room through Expedia, but when I checked in, I found out it was overbooked—and I hadn’t been told about this beforehand.
Luckily, the hotel staff were amazing! They quickly offered me two rooms instead, only charged me for one, and gave the other for free. The receptionist was super helpful and explained that I’d get a refund from Expedia.
Dealing with Expedia was the hard part—it took me two days just to get a partial refund, which was frustrating after such a long trip.
Aside from that, the hotel was great! The view was beautiful, the room was nice, and everything else was perfect. I really appreciate how the receptionist solved the problem. Hopefully, Expedia will handle things faster next time.
The hotel itself is easily 4–5 stars, but I’m giving 3 stars this time so people are aware of the issue.
