Wonderful cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family. The location is great; just a short drive to several cities. We loved sitting down on the dock and watching the loons. Our granddaughter had a blast catching fish.

Perfect Vacation

We had another (our third) wonderful vacation week at the Cedar Lakehouse. It has everything you could want in a Wisconsin lake property. Fishing, boating, ATV, campfire, shopping, supper clubs, etc. Will be back next summer!

Great Property

Our week at Gilmore lake was wonderful. The cabin is prefect for our family, the lake beautiful, and the fire pit enjoyed every day of our stay. We all look forward to returning!

A well spent weekend with family and friends. The location and house are great. On top of that the Host, Eric, was absolutely fantastic. He answered all our questions promptly and made sure our stay was wonderful. Will definitely rent this cabin again.

The property/House are beautiful! The home is very well supplied, Great Lake views! Large pier for 🚤 And the fishing 🎣 is always been great each yr. We’ve stayed here. Many Eagles. Excellent place to stay!

Gilmore Lake

Very nice property, we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend on Gilmore Lake. House was super well equipped with everything you need for a family trip. Very private, with great screened in porch and campfire set up, along with easy access to pier for kayaking and boating....Loons, Bald Eagles and good fishing as well!

February fun

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the area. Even though there was no snow and chose not to go ice fishing, there were plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, hanging out in town, and even having a couple outdoor bonfires. The Cedar Lakehouse provided very cozy evenings to relax around the fireplace. It was a great time and look forward to booking with the family again.

Relaxing Week at the Cedar Lakehouse

The owner Eric was great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for our week on the lake. We enjoyed the screened porch for meals and family games and the patio fire pit for s’mores. There were numerous eagles and loons on the lake which were fun to watch. It was a great property to get our dose of relaxing in the north woods this year.

Paradise

We could not have been happier with this property. The cabin is gorgeous and decorated for up north lake living. The amenities were well supplied and the kitchen has the best cookware and appliances. We enjoyed evening campfires around the fire pit. Gilmore lake is absolutely beautiful and we fished right off the pier for panfish. We all agreed on coming back next summer!

Relaxing week

For our family (6 adults) this was a perfect location. Eric was very helpful from my first contact with him until after our stay when he checked in with us. The expectations for both arrival and departure were clearly stated, which we always appreciate. The house is clean, nicely furnished and spacious. When we all wanted to be together for meals, games or conversation, the gathering spots suited our needs. We especially took advantage of the screened porch. The entire property is well maintained. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for great cooking. Gilmore Lake is lovely. It is not overcrowded with boats, and the loons, herons, eagles and osprey put on great shows for us.

Heaven on earth

We recently spent a week at the property. Myself and my two children (9 and 12) and a friend and her two children the same ages. The house is perfect. The adults each had their own room upstairs and the kids stayed downstairs. The sleep sofa is a high-end American Leather sleep and incredibly comfortable as were all the beds. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need. We used the kayaks and the paddle boat a ton and the kids swam off the dock. They had a blast searching for frogs and running around on the property. The house is in perfect shape and the property is peaceful and beautiful. While the pictures are great, this place is better than the pictures. Eric was incredibly responsive and helpful before and throughout. We hope to return, as the title said, this place is heaven on earth. We fell in love with the Northwoods and can't wait to return!
