New Years Wedding

We stayed at Ford Mountain Retreat over the New Years weekend, as our daughter got married at the Greystone Inn. The house was clean, so comfortable and so welcoming. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, open spaces in the house, the wonderful gas log fireplace and the golf course view!

Beautiful community

The house was beautiful, clean, organized and the neighborhood community very clean and beautiful. Toxaway lake very beautiful as well we rent a boat and that was amazing. There is a lot of falls to see in the area and that’s way we came here. Highly recommended

Golf course fairway view

Property was just as listed. Comfortable home with smart TV’s so remember all your log in info for Netflix etc… There were a few issues but the property manager promptly resolved the issue and was on top of things! Very impressed! Definitely would rent the house again.

OK The checkin was difficult because code for keys was not sent, unclear if this was property manager or Vrbo but very inconvenient. We had to wash duvet of guest room due foul body odor smell. Cigarette butts left in ashtray on porch and around the outside of house Great house if one needs signage reminding to wash brush floss or go jump in a lake.

Reset between camp sessions

My husband and I hosted our daughter and 6 of her camp counselor friends over their session break. They wanted to relax and have fresh non-camp food. The space was perfect for everyone to have a comfy bed and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have desired to cook and serve the girls, a great table for playing card games and ample space for everyone to lounge. My husband is a golfer so we enjoyed being on the golf course and walked the holes in front of the house after hours and delighted in the lightning bugs. It didn't dampen our stay but the master bathroom had a few issues - with outlets by the sink not being hot and light in the shower not working and hot cold handles not turning off. We maneuvered easily around those but thought the caretakers would want to know about the items. Recommend this house!
