Wonderful house. Beds were comfortable. House was just like the pictures. Nice walk to the beach. Nice to have water bottles and the s’mores. Was thankful for the beach chairs and wagon. Each bed should have a blanket and extra towels would be helpful. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful home close to lake

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home just a short walk down to the beach! We had a group of friends and all of their young kids and it was the perfect house, plenty of room for everybody!

Lakeside Family Getaway

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely, spacious and well-appointed home just a 5-10 minute walk to beach. Accommodated our group of 9. Quiet local community with private beach access, and short drive to restaurants, shops, activities, etc in nearby towns. Great place to unplug, relax and enjoy long summer days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The 6 bedrooms comfortably fit 12 adults. The beach was a short walk. My only feedback is the wifi was down the whole time, along with poor cell service. Also the AC was a bit finicky which was okay because it ended getting cooler, but would be a problem in the middle of summer.

Beautiful Home!

We enjoyed our stay so so so much! The house is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. We enjoyed the coziness of fireplace and all of the perfect little spots for having cozy conversations. The property manager was amazing, she met us at check in, explained everything for the house, and gave us a rundown of the area near by. We would definitely rent again!

A PERFECT fall getaway

From the start to finish this trip was flawless. Communication was terrific and the house is just beyond. The location perfect for going to the beach to shopping in Three Oaks to New Buffalo. I cannot say enough. A PLUS trip. Thanks so much we will be back.

Beautiful home close to beach

This was the perfect home for our family vacation to Lake Michigan. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 6 teenagers. The proximity to the beach was wonderful. Just a short walk to the beautiful private neighborhood beach. The bonus outdoor space with game room was a hit with the kids. The large kitchen is well equipped for meals at home with plenty of seating. Large bathrooms, comfortable beds, and welcoming decor. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Labor Day Vaca!

The property was amazing! Just as listed. We have stayed at A LOT of VRBO properties, and this one was by far exceptional! They had several little "extras" that really made the stay special compared to others. Plenty of cookware, beach supplies, outdoor activities, and indoor games for a rainy day. The walk to the beach was easy, approx 12 mins with smaller kids(7&9). The check in and out process was simple. We would def stay again. Thank you guys renting your property!

The home is large and well stocked with amenities and appliances, and set in a quiet neighborhood mere minutes walk from the lakefront. We had a group of 8 people and there was plenty of room for us without getting in each other's way. One of our highlights was the large kitchen that connected to the dining area - it allowed us to cook and eat and chat without splitting up. The living quarters are spacious and updated. Honestly, there isn't a single thing I would change - we had a wonderful weekend.

The home’s interior was beautifully done and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We spent a lot of time on the sun porch off the kitchen and the kids loved the game room. All of the bedrooms were spacious yet cozy and the beds were very comfortable. It was a lovely short walk to the beach and the outdoor shower was key! It had so many amenities that made our stay like a home away from home. We highly recommend Bold Stump to any group and we can’t wait to return!

There was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Our kids loved the nearby beach and the rec space with ping pong and fuseball. The parents loved the comfortable, well appointed space. A wonderful time was had by all. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed for a weekend -10 adults--and everyone enjoyed it! House is well laid-out, well-equipped, and plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Nice easy walk to the lakefront, too--no need to cross any streets.

We really enjoyed this beautiful, spacious and well-appointed home in a quiet community a short walk from a nice private beach. Perfect backdrop for our group of longtime friends to escape and catch up with one another for a milestone birthday getaway. Very clean and it looks exactly like the photos. Wifi worked well. We had no issues and would stay here again.

Loved the wide open kitchen and the island was great for serving and the pantry nice for storing food items etc. The Game Shed was great for the grandkids! The walk to the Beach was not far and very easy on the quiet road and the carpet to the beach was not slippery which was nice when carrying the toddler and the baby and all the beach stuff. We would stay at this Beautiful Location again in the future!

Beautiful house, maybe not the best for younger families

The good:The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious. It's a short walk to a private beach, which has plenty of beach area. The kitchen is very sleek and updated. The two three-season rooms are very pleasant places to sit.The less-than-good:There isn't really a good group gathering / hangout area. If the weather isn't good, the main hangout area can be tight with six adults and kids. There also isn't a basement - and limited outdoor space - so if you have younger kids, they will be in everything. The bed frames seemed a little dated, which meant they were rather squeaky and woke us up. The bad:Each guest was given one towel. There were some washcloths. And nothing else. This was less than ideal, especially with kids. Even worse, when we asked the hosts for additional towels, they refused multiple times. I'm not sure why they draw that line in the sand, but for over 1,000 a night, I'd expect better.Overall:Great location and house for smaller, more mature adult gatherings. In the future, we will likely look for alternative options in the area that are more kid-friendly.
