“We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023.The room was nice and spacious with a lovely big comfy bed and mini fridge in the cupboard. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! “First time in Kathmandu, picked this for it's fabulous location in a vibrant artsy neighborhood near Patan Darbur Square as a friend was staying nearby. I am so very happy I picked this place. Wonderful historic place with a wing added that is more modern but in keeping with the original architecture, the room I booked was in the new section so the ceilings are high and the windows face over the courtyard to the original part of the hotel. “L'accueil lors du Check on est vraiment très friendly. Tous les personnel est vraiment attentionné. La chambre est une grande chambre avec eau chaude et linges de bains. C’est très propre. “The lady who oversees the property was a very good host.”

“Wonderful stay at the hotel. It was perfect location in a quieter area but still close to main road where can get transport easily to move around. Many lovely restaurants and cafe in area and safe to walk around with less traffic also by hotel. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. ”

“I lived in Patan, Nepal in 2006 and have returned several times to reconnect with my "Nepali Family" and the one of kind culture of the Kathmandu Valley. The Inn Patan is a treasured restoration of a traditional Newari home, and is a moments walk to Patan's Durbar Square. The property is extremely quiet, the on-site restaurant is excellent, and the staff are consistently wonderful and accommodating. “This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again.”
