"Kalima was an exceptional property to stay at, in a great location with its own private beach and a shuttle bus into the main area and Market of Khao Lak. David the front office Manager was very attentive and made for a pleasant stay."

"Clean room with a great view, excellent facilities including lovely pools and a well-equipped gym, plus a very satisfying breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would happily stay again."

"This hotel is very good. Clean rooms, Beautiful breakfast. Private pool access (I had the room with pool access). The main pool, which is near the sea, is big and convenient. The beach is wonderful. The sea was a bit wavy, but I think when there is no wind, it has to be amazing!. The personnel are very polite. Everybody says "Hello" and sends a beautiful smile. Wonderful place for a quiet vacation."

"Lovely resort right on the beach at the south end of Khao Lak. The rooms are older but well maintained, and comfortable with lots of space, including huge bathrooms. I loved the beautiful grounds and get-away-from-it-all vibe of the property. My room rate included the buffet breakfast, which had a large variety of western and Asian choices along with an egg station/omelet bar. Nice environmentally friendly touch with the glass water bottles in the rooms too. Cheers."

"This was our second visit to this wonderful resort hotel and we were treated as family returning home, on our arrival. The manager Sali was so genuinely happy to see us back, as were all the staff from reception to room cleaners and gardeners. The peace and quiet and tranquility of this place is amazing, even when there are a lot of guests, you feel you are on your own with nature. A truly wonderful and beautiful place. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs to order, and cooked properly. Views around the grounds, especially around the lagoon gave you a feeling in the jungle with monitor lizards roaming around the grounds freely. As for the beachfront, you could not get a more photogenic view, we never tired of the views in our 20 days there. Looking forward to returning soon. Thanks to all the staff for their love and attention."
