“This property is neat and tidy. My family had a great time. A lot of wildlife to see. The solar lights and screened in eating area really made the nights so much better with the fire ban. We could still enjoy the outside and played games. The lake is so clean - we had little fish nibbling our ankles! Too weedy for us for swimming, but we all dipped in! Lounging and looking at the water was really peaceful. No complaints! Super private. Great hosts.”

“Caroline was an amazing host, super responsive. The cottage was great, the dock area was amazing with access to a paddle board, pedal boat, and canoe. Lots of life jackets, noodles, etc. The screened in porch was nice to have access to as well. The water is shallow off the dock so would recommend bringing water shoes. Otherwise, we had an amazing stay! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Skov Cabin. The space is beautiful. The layout allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the kitchen, dining and living room with wrap around windows - such a great experience and incredibly relaxing! Check-in was a breeze. The hosts provide an informative welcome manual prior to check-in. The hosts, Meghan and Dave were readily available during our stay which was greatly appreciated. Skov Cabin would be lovely to stay at regardless of the season. We would stay again and……

“We had a lovely time as a family sharing this beautiful vacation rental. The property is elegant and well-maintained, there is good climate control inside, and the beds are comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and pristine, and we did a lot of swimming and used the canoe and kayaks. Getting to the lake was easy for all but one of our group, who has mobility issues; access is down a long hill with a pea gravel path. Overall, it was a lovely cottage holiday and we would recommend it to friends. ”

“Online information false/misleading and the property is completely unsuitable for anyone with even minor mobility issues. I was booked for two nights but left after one and went to a motel. - notwithstanding what the website advertises, this cabin does NOT have a bathroom. A bathroom is available in the main house, 50 or so meters away. It is not separate from the host's living space (i.e. not private). To use the bathroom at night, you will need a flashlight (and an umbrella anytime it's……
