Let yourself be seduced by our invitation to laziness away from urban stress and take a break for a stay or a weekend!
In the heart of an authentic Brittany, set between the peaceful dwellings of the hamlet of Botquelvez, the house "ESPRIT DE FAMILLE" already smells of holidays ...
Our house brings together two old houses and adapts for a friendly stay with friends or family. "Tailor-made" so that everyone can enjoy their vacation.
The main house is a generous space where you can share good times together, placed on the sofa, curled up in the armchair in front of the fireplace or around a good table with a wide view of the park.
From the veranda near the kitchen area:
- join the large south-facing terrace overlooking the park and its lake, where you can have a set of garden furniture, a barbecue and beautiful sun loungers,
- or prefer to find yourself on the ground floor of the second building also opening onto a green space to share a game of billiards.
At the hour when the sun goes down, after a beautiful day of relaxation, or of ballad rich in meetings and discoveries,
- choose to find the mezzanine of the main house where the small reading room rubs shoulders with a very cozy sleeping area adjoining the "shabby style" bedroom,
- or prefer to isolate yourself in the large room located above the pool table.
Surely not satisfied, you will have the dream not to return, to stay living in the countryside ...

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst in een gezellige vakantiewoning. De gastvrouw was bijzonder hulpvaardig en attent. Het huis is goed in orde, alles is aanwezig. Er is wel weinig kastruimte. Heel goed bed. Prachtige gedeelde tuin.

Ein bretonisches Paradies

Ein traumhaft gestaltetes Landhaus mit einem Privatpark, komplett ausgestattet - ein Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Ideale Location für Ausflüge in die gesamte Süd-West-Bretagne, für weitere Entdeckungen benötigt man ca. 45 - 60 Minuten Fahrt. Aber auch in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es einiges zu entdecken. Bäcker und Supermarkt ca. 12 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt. Gut organisierte und sympathische Gastgeber, die einerseits in der Bretagne verwurzelt, andererseits weltoffen und weitgereist sind. Gern wieder und absolut empfehlenswert!

Fabulous cottage in the heart of rural Brittany

Lovely Breton stone property with a very large, secluded, garden in the heart of rural Brittany. Tastefully decorated, clean, and well equipped (dish washer, washing machine, wifi, modern oven & hob etc). Arlette, the owner, lives in the property next door and was there to meet us and show us round on arrival, and to answer any questions we had during our two week visit. The "welcome" bottle of wine and crepes were much appreciated and very thoughtful. Plenty of on site parking. The cottage is conveniently located for trips to Lorient, Quimper and Vannes, with good walking and cycling routes nearby (we brought our own bikes and we able to store these in one of the outbuildings). The village of Langonnet which has a very good butchers/ trattoria, boulangerie/ patisserie and general store (excellent "cave") is about 6km away. If you are looking for peace and solitude, this is the place for you!

La maison de Zabel.

Avons passé un bon séjour, très belle maison ce qu’il y a de cosy on ne peut mieux. La propriétaire Arlette est très sympathique. Et les chats si vous les aimez,ils sont là. Le terrain est immense, vert et bien arboré .Dommage que la maison soit trop éloignée de tout La 1 ère semaine a été pluvieuse mais après les grosses chaleurs ça ne nous a pas gêné.

Erholsame Ferien im Herzen der Bretagne

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und bietet mit seiner kleinen Parkanlage alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Die Küche ist modern, sehr gut ausgestattet und wie das gesamte Ferienhaus liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stand für jegliche Fragen zur Verfügung. Traumhafter Garten

sehrt nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, es ist ein altes traditionelles wunderschönes Haus mit allen Nachteilen die so ein Gebäude mit sich bringt. Heisst es ist etwas muffelig, und für meine Begriffe etwas gar überstellt mit Sachen und Plunder (aber geschmackvoll). So etwas top sauber zu halten ist enorm aufwändig. Top eigerichtet Küche, man findet alles was man braucht. Der Garten und Sitzplatz lassen keine Wünsche offen.

Paradise is in Morbihan!

We loved the park-like setting and the beautiful, quaint little homes that Arlette put us up in. When we arrived, Arlette welcomed us to her little hideaway with a bottle of good cidre and beautiful hydrangeas. The house is fully equipped with a kitchen--with microwave, stove, etc.--and two bathrooms. We made use of the washing machine and the dryer. It was just like home. There are two terraces, which would be great to barbecue in summer. Cats provided for good entertainment. The one difficulty we experienced was with the internet: it was on and off between 10am and 10pm. Fortunately we were mostly gone over the day, but it was a bit difficult to find information if loading a site takes 20 minutes. Communication with Arlette was in English and the occasional French sentence thrown in for good measure. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously at this little hideaway: thank you, Arlette, for having us over for two weeks.

La maison du Bonheur !

"5 étoiles" sans conteste pour notre séjour dans "La Maison de Zabel",où nous avons passé de très agréables moments ! Lieu enchanteur empreint d' histoire et de souvenirs auxquels la charmante propriétaire, Arlette Cosperec , une femme passionnée, a su donner une seconde vie et nous permettre de partager cette belle aventure ! Maison ancienne rénovée avec beaucoup de goût, où nous avons pu jouir d' un calme absolu, confortable ( il n'y manque rien ! ) à la décoration soignée et propre ! Que dire du magnifique parc arboré et fleuri : un vrai paradis sur terre ! Et aux alentours proches : un patrimoine très intéressant et beaucoup de lieux à visiter, les amoureux des vieilles pierres seront comblés ! ( La Vallée des Saints, le site de Locuon, l' abbaye de Langonnet, la cité des abeilles vivantes et fourmis ou la maison de la chauve-souris à Kernascleden où il y a aussi une très belle église : peintures murales à admirer ! etc...) Le bord de mer n'est pas très loin non plus : à peine 1h jusqu' à Auray ( le site de Ste Anne d' Auray ) et son vieux port St Goustan ! Pour ma part, je recommande : la fontaine du XVIIéme située sur la Trinité-Langonnet : la fontaine de la Trinité-Besver : une pure merveille, beaucoup d' émotion ! Bref vous l'aurez compris en quittant ce bel endroit nous avons qu' une envie c'est d'y revenir ! Encore 1000 mercis à Mme Cosperec pour son accueil et sa discrétion ! PS : bises aux amis les chats qui ont également rendu ce séjour adorable !

Un havre de paix!

Vacances entres amis dans un environnement apaisant

Maison très agréable claire et pratique. Propreté 5/5. Rien ne manque. Les lits sont faits, le linge est abondant. Accueil efficace . Les produits locaux nous attendent ... dans le frigo, pour en déguster les saveurs avant de tester plus largement dans les restaurants bretons. Jardin entretenu avec soin. À découvrir ...et à immortaliser sur la pellicule- pardon, photo numérique ! - Dommage que les opérateurs du web nous oublient..quelquefois . De beaux sites à découvrir alentour. Superbes vacances au calme. Reviendrons je pense.

Traum-Ferienhaus auf dem Land

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus im Juli 2019 mit 3 Personen für 2 Wochen. Superschönes Ambiente - wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Coralie und ihre Mutter Arlette haben uns sehr nett begrüßt und alles gezeigt. Bei Fragen konnten wir uns an Arlette wenden (englisch und französisch). Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Es war sogar ein Grundstock an Lebensmitteln da. Das Billardzimmer wurde von den beiden Männern abends häufig genutzt. Den großen Esstisch haben wir auch zum Spielen genutzt. Es sind 2 Schlafzimmer vorhanden + 2 Bäder (1x Badewanne, 1x Dusche). Die Schlafzimmer waren einigermaßen kühl, da sich die Temperaturen abends abgekühlten. So konnten wir durchlüften. Im Schuppen nebenan steht eine Waschmaschine, die wir 1x genutzt haben. Den herrlichen Garten haben wir leider kaum nutzen können. Wenn man die Bretagne erkunden will, sind die Wege mit dem Auto relativ weit. Wir sind in den 2 Wochen ca. 2.200 km gefahren. Das bringt die Lage mitten im Kreizh Breizh (Zentrum der Bretagne) so mit sich. Die Entfernungen zur Südküste sind ca. 1 Stunde Fahrzeit (Lorient, Concarneau) und zur Nordküste 1 1/2 Stunden. Essen gegangen sind wir meist in Le Faouet. Dort sind einige gute Restaurants. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder einen Urlaub dort machen. 100% Empfehlung.

This property is even better than the description on the internet. It's large, both inside the house and the yard. Beautifully kept and landscaped. While we didn't see Coralie a whole lot because she works out of town, her mother Arlette did a super job of hosting.

Besser geht's nicht

Reisezeitraum: 1. bis 15. September 2018 In aller Kürze: Sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet, gaaaanz liebe Vermieter, perfekter Urlaub. Wunderschöne Ferienunterkunft, liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Eigentlich sind es zwei kleine Häuschen die durch einen Vorbau miteinander verbunden wurden. Haus 1: EG Küche, Wohn- Esszimmer, Toilette, 1. OG Schlafzimmer und Bad mit Badewanne und WC, Haus 2: EG Billiardzimmer, Bad mit WC und Dusche, 1. OG Schlafzimmer. Sitzgelegenheiten vorm Haus, auf der Terrasse hinterm Haus, im Garten. Liegemöglichkeiten: Im Garten (??? Park!!!), auf der Terrasse, am Teich. Sehr ruhig, allerdings ist der Ort so gut wie tot, kein Cafe, keine Kneipe, keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder. Ideale Lage, wenn man die ganze Bretagne bereisen möchte, denn alle Küsten (Nord, West, Süd) sind bequem erreichbar. Danke an Arlette und Coralie für die liebevolle Betreuung. Wir waren mit dem Auto und zwei Motorrädern angereist und Arlette hat uns einen Anbau freigeräumt, damit die Motorräder nicht im Freien stehen. Leider haben in dem Anbau Schwalben genistet und alles vollgesch....... Daher hat uns Arlette schon bei der Ankunft zwei riesige Plastikplanen organisiert, damit wir die Mopeds abdecken konnten und die nicht in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Katzen sollte man zumindest nicht hassen, denn die sind reichlich (7) vorhanden und versuchen immer ins Haus zu kommen, wenn man mal einer Tür offenstehen lässt. Fazit: Sehr empfehlenswert

Endroit magnifique, accueil chaleureux par les proprietaires -

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce paradis. Coralie nous a fait un acceuil chaleureux - pour l'anniversaire de notre fille, elle avait meme préparé des guirlandes, ballons et sucréries! Nous avons particulièrement été fascinés par la beauté du jardin et des interieurs confortables, décorés avec gout et très bien équipés - et des chats adorables des propriétaires. Les enfants ont bien profités de la salle de billard et des jeux à disposition.Tout était parfait.On espère bien y retourner bientot!

Gîte très confortable dans un cadre calme et verdoyant

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce gîte avec nos deux jeunes enfants. Le gîte est bien équipé et très bien décoré. Nous avons particulièrement aimé le salon très cosy et la salle de billard. Les enfants ont particulièrement profité des extérieurs avec le grand jardin, très soigné. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants! Nous recommendons!
