“We really enjoyed our stay at the Monti-Villa. We’ve never gotten so much bang for our buck until we stayed here. If being too big of a place was an issue, it was kind of a nice to have that issue all to ourselves. Our hosts, Lucy, Rene, and Jose were all very nice and courteous. “It's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me. When I was there there's was lots of construction; and there's also plenty of "banging" noise, which I think comes from something that falls out of the trees onto the tin roof of the rooms; that could be a……

“The house was beautiful and right next door to Beto's restaurant which is a very popular restaurant in El Salvador. It was perfect because we didn't have a car so we went there a few times during our stay. We also ordered to go and they brought it over to us. The views of this place are amazing. It does have beach access but because of the high tide we couldn't use the beach. The pool was a big hit, the kids were in it everyday!
