Vdara stay

The stay is exactly as it is advertise. At the moment though there is construction between the bellagio and vdara so not easy access. If you want a casino in your hotel they do not have one . Pool area is great and non smoking hotel .

Great centrally located suite

Vdara is a very nice facility with great amenities. A full service restaurant, wonderful pool/spa/gym facilities and a market for your general shopping needs. The fact that this facility is both centrally located on the strip and non-smoking are two big pluses. The suite was very nice, clean and precisely as advertised. The owner was readily available for rapid communication and was nice enough to give us a late checkout. Very nice views of Aria but not in the direct path of the sun so we were able to keep the shades up day or night.

Enjoyed my weekend with my family.

All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there. Didn't realize there was no self parking though. It wasn't a big deal, just had to tip the valet drivers everytime we left the premises for whatever reason and it added up when leaving the hotel several times a day. Very nice room and modern, great views. Didn't have a view of the strip though, but still a nice view. There was only 1 roll of TP in the restroom and 4 of us stayed in the room (Me, wife + my 2 little girls) and the 1 roll of TP didn't last long. Because we didn't book the room through Vdara, at first I wasn't sure how we went about getting additional toiletries, but the property manager answered my questions and made getting what we needed easy. Just wish they would have at least 1 extra roll in the room. The room was fairly clean, but we noticed it was a bit dusty. Things may have been picked up, wiped down in most areas, but some items/areas didn't appear to have been cleaned for some time. Again, it wasn't a big deal, just dust and things I noticed and figured I would share so the owner is aware and can address it. Overall it was a great stay and I would book again.

The unit was clean. There were several issues. The unit on Expedia shows as a 1 bedroom, but it is actually a studio. The listing calls it a 1 bedroom over and over in all the conspicuous areas. Upon arrival it was actually a studio, which didn’t work for our group. The hotel couldn’t help or move us because this unit is privately owned and operated. Expedia said they listed on behalf of VRBO so they couldn’t help. VRBO said somewhere in the fine print it the word studio appeared after pool view but they deferred to the owner regarding the many mentions of it being a 1 bedroom. The owner refused to respond and after a couple days we gave up. He didn’t communicate other than the scheme of scheduled auto emails asking for a 5 star review and pretending to care if we had any issues. We had many issues. The kitchen had no coffee pot and no kitchenware. Just a sink, tiny mini fridge and empty cabinets. The pillow were lumpy. The duvet had speckles. The owner never responded. I recommend booking with the hotel directly. If you sign up for MGM there’s a nice discount and you get options plus modifications or cancellations. I will not be staying at this unit and will not recommend it due to the misrepresentation in the listing and the no responsive owner.
