「We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. The kitchen has basics like salt/pepper/oil. Close to the famous golden circle destinations so you get an early start in the loop before the rest of the tourists join in.」

「Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.」

「Clean and spacious, exactly as pictured, comfortable beds, clear directions (though we struggled to find the front door to check in at first due to thinking a locked side door was the front door). Easy to find on maps. Good Wi-Fi . Only complaint is the wall separating us and the unit next door was SO thin. Could hear everything. Also could covert clearly hear the neighboring people slamming the door when leaving at 6 am. I slept with white noise on and slept fine until the door slamming. Would...

「We were able to tour both the national park and the southern coast conveniently without having to move between lodgings. The cabin is pretty new, has a nice view of the mountains, and a hot tub and grill on a pretty deck (though the midges require a head net that the host graciously provided for us). The kitchenette was adequate for us since we weren’t cooking anything more than breakfast. The upstairs bedroom with twin beds would be a great spot for a couple of kids who find it fun to climb up...
