Nice stay. The houses are very remote and dining options are about a 20-30 minute drive. The rooms were clean, our shower was clogged though. It’s a great place to view the northern lights since it is so remote. Great stay and seamless/easy check in.

Our first two nights in Iceland were here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The dogs on the property made this one of our favorite stays of all time. We loved being greeted by them and playing fetch outside. Inside was very spacious and clean. Check in was super easy.

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!

The property was absolutely beautiful. Lots of privacy, beautiful sunset and was able to catch a glimpse of northern lights during our stay. The dogs on the property were incredibly sweet and made the stay so much more memorable and fun.

We loved the location and the sites we wanted to see on the golden circle route were within an hours drive. The heated floors were nice to have during our Winter visit and the kitchen had the things we needed to prepare our meals. The doggie visits were fun and they are very sweet. The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

We had the greatest time at Heima Holiday Homes! The land around these homes was beautiful. We were welcomed by 3 adorable pups, who also hung out with us (outside) the next morning. The home had coffee in the kitchen and all utensils needed to make dinner and breakfast. One of our favorite stays in Iceland!

Selfoss and southern Iceland

Great location to watch the Aurora and explore southern Iceland. Selfoss is a nice little town with grocery stores and restaurants 20 min away. The standalone room was very nice, super comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful views, all around, very quiet and peaceful.

Love love loved this property! It was our favorite in Iceland. The 3 dogs were a superb bonus to be able to wake up to and play with before starting our day. Home was extremely clean and fresh towels provided daily. It was nice to have a tv with Netflix to be able to unwind a bit before bed. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely wonderful. The place is so cozy and relaxing that we didn’t want to leave. Close drive to many attractions that is less than an hour drive. It’s so spacious and has everything you could possible need. We totally loved the owners’ dogs. Plus it’s only 20 minutes drive to main Selfoss central area.
