Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

8/10 Good
"Nice stay was had. Stayed many times before and staff always helpful. The only disappointment this time was breakfast. The selection has vastly decreased to what it once was. You were able to order extras etc which was much better than the eggs, sausages and bacon option. The coffee machine really needs looking into too as it’s just like warm milk no actual taste of coffee. It’s been like this for a while now. Apart from that a lovely stay as always and would stay again."

Village Hotel Aberdeen

8/10 Good
"The check-in process was disappointing because I had to ask about nearly everything. The listing stated that a parking tag would be provided if parking was included, but none was given. When I asked, I was told that parking required an additional fee, which was then added to our room. The pool also costs extra, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. We went to use the hot tub but were told we couldn’t use it because the bubbles weren’t running. The staff member who told us was not friendly or helpful. My husband and son then attempted to swim, but two lanes were reserved for lap swimming and the remaining area was being used for swim lessons. My mother-in-law, who was fully dressed and not swimming, was even told she couldn’t use her phone to take a picture. The pool hours are also very limited, especially for families. If you are checking in and want your children to swim, you’ll need to go almost immediately. Needless to say, we left after about five minutes and felt like we had completely wasted our money."
