Chalet Luna was a perfect mountain escape. As a family of 6, we found the accommodation roomy, thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. They have literally thought of everything you could possibly need. Nothing to improve. Everything was perfect!

Perfect Swiss retreat

We loved our stay at Chalet Luna! It was quiet, yet convenient and well-equipped. The only negative was that we arrived in two groups and the second group was given directions to the wrong property! Be advised that it’s quite a trudge up the hill from the train station, but it’s well worth the effort! The views were amazing!

Everyone in my family had a fantastic time in Wengen. It was a walk into town but we had a grocery cart which helped with the grocery shopping.

Plenty of room for four single adults. Very helpful staff that responds immediately. And Wengen, in fact the whole area was beautiful, wonderfully car free and easy to navigate by Train, gondola or hike. Would definitely stay again and may actually do so.

Great Chalet in the Mountains!

We enjoyed our week in Wengen, and especially loved this chalet. It was the perfect size, clean, organized and fully stocked. We were two families of 4 and never felt on top of each other, but the place still felt cozy. Nice walk from the village. Perfectly silent at night. Great views of the mountains and skiers. Rachel was helpful and attentive.

Our now extended familys return visit to Wengen.

In February of last year I decided to take my now extended family on a return visit to Wengen for the half term week of this year. I was looking for a modern well equipped four bedroom apartment with two or three bathrooms. My web search led me to Alpine Holiday Services and its co-owner Rachel Padley. Rachel has a good selection of apartments from two bedrooms up to a five bedroom sleeping ten The website is excellent with a full and accurate description of the properties plus a video of each room. Nothing is left to chance with the description and facilities available. My choice was Chalet Luna with four good sized bedrooms three well equipped bathrooms including a good range of toiletries a nice touch for a rental property the kitchen was equipped to satisfy the most demanding of chefs. There is also a private ski locker and heated boot rack. There is a spacious terrace overlooking the ski run leading back to the village which also leads to the railway station for your early morning start. A genuine ski out -ski in property. The booking and paying for the apartment was quick and easy and well documented by Rachel, she even arranged for a taxi to take our luggage from the station to Chalet Luna on our arrival.
