Relaxing Atmosphere

Best stay ever!

Our hosts thought of absolutely everything. The house was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with toiletries, fresh fruit and wine, and was the perfect spot for our multi-generation family trip! Great location close to Lawrence and KU campus.

AMAZING PROPERTY!

The home is everything you could want! They thought of all the little details to make our stay wonderful! The yard is amazing, the basement provided lots of entertainment for our family! The owners were available to answer questions quickly. The best rental house I've ever rented! Was a perfect place for our Daughter's graduation celebration. Wonderful memories made!

Weekend Birthday Stay with Family

The property was wonderful. The home was welcoming, clean, spacious and had lots of fun activities such as foosball, poker table, ping pong, air hockey, work out equipment, big screen tv to watch the game with lots of other toys and games for the kids. My favorite room was the dining space that was large for a big group and was surrounded with beautiful windows and a forest surrounding you. Wonderful getaway with the family.

High School friends ,Girls weekend

Everything about this VRBO was GREAT! We had 9 women and we all were very impressed. The sitting areas inside and out were perfect for large or small groups. The host was very helpful anytime I had a question . The place was very clean and updated. Loved the view and outdoor space. Plenty of room for group. A bit hard to understand floorplan and bedroom layout from photos. Had two questions for host but they were quickly resolved. Also the host allowed us an early check in which helped a lot. Would come back.

Labor Day 2023

The property was awesome! It was a good location for what we were in town for. The property was very clean and tidy. Owners are amazing, they live close so any issues they can be there in no time to help out! The patio and deck are awesome! If going back to the area would definitely stay here! Check them out!

Best Birthday Weekend

We stayed here for my birthday weekend with 10 of my friends and it was absolutely wonderful! The house was so spacious and we loved being in such a peaceful area. We went to the KU vs K-State game and we were able to get an Uber for less than $30. The house had so many fun games to play and they really made it feel like we were at home. Definitely would recommend staying here for a fun weekend in Lawrence!

Weekend Trip

We took a weekend trip home to Kansas for my mother's 70th birthday. This house was the perfect spot right outside of Lawrence for our trip. The house was very clean and well set up for a weekend trip for the whole family. There were 9 of us and we had plenty of space. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The property owners actually live at the adjacent property, so response to any issue is quick. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again in the future.

Wedding Weekend

Our son got married in the area. It was nice to be able to come back to a home that was relaxing each night. We also had all the groomsmen over for dinner two nights before the wedding and the property was perfect. They loved all there was to do (ping pong, air hockey, Wii, a big yard to play frisbee, etc) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for all the guys.

Family Christmas

I am so grateful that we were staying at this amazing property with such wonderful hosts for our family Christmas, in addition to being a stellar property, the hosts went above & way beyond expectations. My husband had a medical emergency and had to spend the entire time in the hospital. The host made every accommodation we requested to help us through this difficult time. I would rate this property 5++ if that was an option.

Fantastic gathering place for families

I was visiting Lawrence with my wife for a bit of a reunion with friends from my college days at KU, and we decided to take advantage of the visit by meeting up with my sisters and their families. Ashley was very accommodating and great to work with. The house is simply fantastic. The listing said the house was recently renovated, but it completely blew me away. Everything was very well done, and the house has plenty of space for a large family. The rec room in the basement was spacious with a big tv and plenty of seating. The air hockey table and ping pong table in the garage was a huge hit as well. We also really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the gas grill for grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. I can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t regret it. We’re looking forward to our next opportunity to go to Lawrence. This property will be on the top of our list for places to stay.

Girl’s weekend

We are seven friends from high school (we now live in five different states) who get together once per year. This home was perfect for us. Ashley and Brian have created an amazing oasis in mid-Kansas for groups of all kinds! As a grandmother who plans the all-family vacation each year, I can assure you this home is perfect for all types of people needing a peaceful getaway. Here are some highlights: - The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! I have a ‘vacation rental’ box I typically bring and had forgotten it - it wasn’t needed! There were plenty of paper goods, cleaning supplies and typical condiments. - Such an impressive welcome! The fruit basket, snacks and wine made us want to come right in but the coffee bar made us want to stay! They thought of EVERYTHING! Wonderful variety of coffee flavors along with all those teas and hot cocoa. - The weather changed while we were visiting but the temp inside was remarkably consistent. Very impressive for such a large home. - We had a couple of minor questions during our visit. Both times we contacted the owners through the app. We had our responses within minutes. Literally. - There were two different sitting areas large enough for all seven of us to sit around and visit. The dining area seated us very comfortably with room to spare. - Plenty of towels! Frequent VRBO users don’t need to pack extra kitchen towels, either. Every one of us commented that we would happily stay again! Thank you!

A Great Place
