The accommodation is part of an old farmhouse what is rather central located in the Normandie Calvados area. The accommodation is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The lady who rents the accommodation lives in the same farmhouse as well and is very friendly and gives good advice about places to visit and things to do.

A first class cottage in an ideal location for Normandy - especially Calvados - and perfect for visiting the D-Day invasion areas with a drive of no more than an hour to the furthest reaches of the landing sites. Susan, the owner, met us at the cottage and showed us around to familiarise us with the property which we found to be excellent in every sense. This cottage is particularly well appointed and, being a fairly new refurbishment, has very high specifications. The rooms are suitable for a family or for two couples and we spent a few highly enjoyable days at the cottage and in the local area. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage to any perspective renters as it is, literally, just as described and even better than the photographs can portray it. Thank you Susan and Andrew.

Our one week stay in this lovely cottage was just what we wanted. Right from the initial enquiry, to booking and staying in the cottage, our hosts Susan and Andrew could not have made us more welcome (their emphasis on customer service is excellent). We found the property to be just as described and very well appointed with all the facilities you would typically expect in a clean and tidy cottage. It is located just 10-minutes from Bayeux and is an excellent base for exploring the D-Day beaches and Normandy countryside. Mont St Michel is not too far away but be prepared to arrive early if you are visiting in the height of the summer holiday period. We also enjoyed the markets in Honfleur and Bayeux and there is a great choice of restaurants in Port en Bessin. There is so much to see and do and one week was not enough so we would definately consider returning to this cottage and area.

This cottage is in a perfect location for seeing the sights of Normandy and for making day trips to the D-Day beaches, Mt. Saint Michele, Bayeux, etc. The cottage is newly renovated, immaculate, comfortable, and has a well-equipped kitchen for those nights of cooking in. The bathrooms are beautifully tiled with towels like new, and the bedrooms were very quiet and comfortable. Susan, the owner, was so easy to deal with throughout the booking process with her quick responses to emails and information. She was at the cottage to greet us upon our arrival with a warm welcome and showed us around the house. We really appreciated her outstanding restaurant recommendations and overall helpfulness during our stay. Our only regret was that we weren't there long enough to enjoy the beautiful setting of Susan's and Andrew's farm. We would highly recommend the cottage to others traveling in Normandy. Thank you, Susan and Andrew.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber wohnen direkt nebenan. Das charmante, liebevoll renovierte alte Haus ist geräumig und mit Allem, was man braucht eingerichtet, hat einen Obstgarten und eine gemütliche Terrasse. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig, Omaha Beach, Bayeux und etliche andere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in ca. 1/4 Stunde zu erreichen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!

La maison des Hooker est idéalement située pour faire la visite des plages du débarquement des musées et divers memoriaux et cimetières militaires. Le lieu est très très bien équipé avec plein de petites attention (des dosettes se café, du sucre, de l'huile du vinaigre des épices.) Le linge fourni dont les serviettes est très appréciable quand on arrive en avion. Le mieu dispose aussi d'un lave linge d'un lave vaisselle sèche cheveux bouilloire etc... Il manquerait peut être juste une TV Un petit jardin permet de profiter de l'extérieur. La maison est située en lisière de forêt à proximité de la route un peu passante mais cela reste très agréable. Les propriétaires habitent la maison à côté et sont toujours à disposition si besoin. Je recommande de à 100%

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maison bien située pour visiter les plages du débarquement et bien équipée. L'endroit est calme malgré la proximité de la route et les propriétaires sont charmants et répondent à toutes nos demandes.

Tout était parfait ! Le gîte est idéalement situé pour découvrir les sites et musées du débarquement aussi bien que Bayeux et sa tapisserie ou encore plages, forêts... Le charme de l’ancien, avec tout le confort moderne et une propreté parfaite, c’était vraiment agréable d’y revenir chaque jour. Susan et Andrew sont des hôtes idéaux. Nous reviendrons sans doute et en parlerons autour de nous !

Dejligt feriehus i rolige omgivelser. Køkken veludstyret, baderum i god kvalitet. Venlige og hjælpsomme værter, fx kunne vi stille vores cykler i aflåst rum. Huset er tæt på Bayeux og D-dagsstrande, dog kræver det bil at komme rundt.

We stayed for a few nights whilst playing tennis tournaments in the area. The gite was everything we could have hoped for and more. A wonderful relaxing place to come back to at the end of a busy day. Fabulously well equipped kitchen, gorgeous showers, comfy beds. We ate outdoors every evening and then wandered around the garden and said hello to the cows in the next door field. The owners are next door and are charming and helpful. We really hope to return.

Stayed for 5 nights in July at Le Petite Coliberderie. Lovely, atmospheric farmhouse, very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Three bathrooms meant no-one was queuing to use the loo!! The cottage is spacious and was ideal for our family stay (2 adults and 2 children) and also had a nice enclosed and secluded garden as well. The road was not too busy so not too much traffic noise to spoil the tranquillity. The cottage is also ideally located for exploring the surrounding countryside, being only about 20 minute drive from Bayeux and less than half an hour from many of the D-Day beaches. The nearest town of Le Miolat-Littral is small and quaint and has all the shops you will need. We had some lovely clear nights too and the absence of streetlights means the stars blazed brightly overhead - sitting in the garden gazing up at the heavens is certainly relaxing! Highly recommended if you are looking for a base to explore the Calvados region of Normandy or are just looking for a nice peaceful get-away.
