We loved our much needed stay at Le Hezo. Our welcome from Antony and Christelle was incredibly warm, and the house and pool were immaculate. Located in a cul-de-sac, it's in a very quiet area, but with good access to the beautiful city of Vannes, incredible beaches, excellent walks and bike rides and wonderful opportunities for gorging yourselves on delicious sea-food! My kinda heaven!
Le Hezo itself has little by way of shops and restaurants, other than the Maison du Cidre, which has a creperie, and sells cider (obviously!) and other artisanal products (shuts at 6.30pm), a smart (but not cheap!) delicatessen and an excellent cave for wine. So worth bringing a few essentials with you as the nearest supermarket is a 10/15 drive away in Sarzeau or Le Tour du Parc (all close at 8pm). But once you're fully stocked up, it's a fantastic place to relax, unwind, and from which to explore all the richness that the Gulfe du Morbihan has to offer.
Huge thanks to both Christelle and Antony for making our first (and much longed for) holiday in 2 years a real pleasure!
