Bon emplacement , toutefois attention aux moustiques !

l'emplacement correspondait parfaitement à la description. L'endroit est plutôt calme et dispose d'un barbecue, ce qui est un avantage. Pour les futurs résidents, je recommande vivement d'apporter des produits antimoustiques et antihistaminiques car les culicoïdes sont très actifs au coucher du soleil et peuvent rendre la soirée très désagréable. Ensuite la piscine n'a été nettoyée que la veille de notre départ ce qui est fort dommage Malgré ces quelques points négatifs, l'annonce est fidèle à la description et l'hôte est réactif. Nous recommandons ce logement pour un séjour court, mais avec une préparation adéquate pour les moustiques.

Très bon séjour : Bungalow indépendant et calme

Bungalow indépendant et calme pour 2 personnes, proche de la maison de la propriétaire (mais très discrète) et de la maison du voisin. La vue sur le jardin et sur la piscinette est agréable et reposante. le coin "cuisine" a bien vécu, il serait bien de le renouveler (à commencer par le réfrigérateur). Dans la pièce intérieure, il manque un rangement/penderie pour les vêtements. Une moustiquaire serait un plus, et éviterait de mettre la clim et utiliser des produits anti-moustiques. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Manque d'entretien au niveau du bungalow, à l'arrivée vaisselle pas vraiement propre, pas de moustiquaire, c'est en lotissement et le voisin bricole pas mal, donc bruit. Sinon Catherine est accueillante.

Très chaleureux accueil. Nous avons été reçu avec un punch le repas du soir et petit déjeuner fort agréable après 8h de vol et le décalage horaire. Logements conformes aux photos et très agréable. Nous reviendrons c’est sûr. Merci à notre super hôte.

A beautiful place on a beautiful island!

I visited Martinique end of November 2018 and stayed 2 weeks in Catherines lovely small bungalow. The bungalow is located on the same ground with the main house and another bigger house that can be rent, but the skillful arrangement let you feel like having your own private space. The bungalow and the outside kitchen are equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. I loved to sit on the terrace with a great view in the garden and to the green hills of the back country of Vauclin, enjoying the small pool for a refreshment. The whole place is located in a clean and calm housing area with single-family houses only a few minutes by car away from Vauclin, where you find e.g. small supermarkets, bakery, some Restaurants and bars etc. Catherine and her family are very nice and friendly hosts. As my French is not very good, it was perfect to be able to communicate in English. Catherine took always care about my needs and could give very helpful recommendations where to go and what to see on the beautiful island. Not to forget Cannelle, the family dog. We became friends as soon as I entered the door.  As I am a water sports and kitesurfing enthusiast, the short distance to the famous kite spot Point Faula was perfect for me. But Vauclin was also my base to visit and see places all over Martinique. The beautiful Caribbean beaches in the South or West, Fort-de-France or the peninsula Caravelle are only a short drive and even the north of the island with the famous volcano Mount Pelée and lots of possibilities for hiking tours in wonderful nature can be easily reached within 1,5 - 2 h. Of course a car is mandatory. I definitively can only recommend to stay at Catherine’s place and would always choose it again. Thank you Catherine!

ça vaut le clin d'oeil au Vauclin !

Très agréable séjour malgré une météo incertaine due à la saison cyclonique. Accueil sympathique et ouvert de la propriétaire, sans oublier Cannelle, chienne adorable qui veillera sur vous tout au long de votre séjour. Tranquillité assurée. Piscine non-olympique après deux ou trois brasses, mais suffisante pour une détente bien méritée, après excursions. Revoir toutefois le problème de la Wifi. Conseille l'acquisition d'une petite plancha et table à repasser. Bon séjour pour les suivants.
