Great House for Staff Weekend

We only had 11 people but most needed their own space and this house provided exactly that - everyone had their own space and plenty of it. The amenities were exactly as described in this gorgeous newer house. We look forward to renting this house again in the future.

We come to Lead every February and this is the first house we are considering coming back to. The big kitchen and large table was perfect for family game night. One bedroom did not have the bedding changed and we had to wash them. Cleaning could have been a little more thorough. Overall we enjoyed the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great place for our family of 19, ranging from 3 months to 60's! I like to pick my Vacation homes by the kitchen. I appreciated that for a house this size there was plenty of dining space for the whole family. Many times, you can find a large house, but the dining is not adequate for a large group. The whole house was perfect for our family, each family had their own bathroom, plenty of fridge space and we loved having two washers and dryers. The kids loved running up the big hill behind the house and exploring. We even used the community pool in October!

Reviewer Comments: The property managers promptly provided the information for our stay as well as the billable receipts and were very responsive prior to arriving. Upon arrival, we had two points of contact to get in touch with, and ended up with a third due to a property manager having something come up. This was fine, except it made it challenging to know who to contact and remain in communication with. Outside of this, when communicating the need for supplies needed for check-out,, we were prompted with “we should be able to do that” but communication overall was a bit more challenging upon arrival.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at the “jubilation” on 05/18 to 05/22. The house was clean and very well stocked. There were plenty of towels for everyone and the two washing/drying machines were so convenient! The layout of the house was very thought through and made it perfect for multiple families staying in one house with everyone having their private space. Absolutely loved the ginormous dining table and plenty of seating in the main living area. Here’s just a few tips to make this home and stay even better: outdoor area needs some grass and maybe something for kids like a swing? And also some adult activity like a ping pong or pool table in the garage. We really enjoyed our family vacation at this house and will be back in the future!

It wasn't a big problem for us, but the ROKU TV leaves a lot to be desired: no NFL football without paying a subscription. The master bath shower has a "soft spot" near the drain on the floor, which wasn't a problem for us (unless you are buying this house), but will become one eventually. Only other annoying thing was the lack of much street signage for this very new development. Otherwise, great house in a great location!

Great Family Experience

Our four kids, their spouses, and our 6 grandchildren were more than comfortable with sleeping space for us all and kitchen and eating space that allowed us to truly live life together. We were able to make all of our meals there to maximize our time as a family. The availability of the gas grill added to our cooking options. The double washer and dryer was another welcomed extra feature. The community pool was a great hit for us all at the end of our days. The close proximity to many hiking trails and to Mount Rushmore and Rapid City allowed us many options for activities for all age groups. The home was in a very comfortable and quiet neighborhood setting.

Side by side trip to Black Hills

Excellent accommodations, beautiful well designed home with everything we needed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus. I would highly recommend this house in this exceptional neighborhood.

Loved this house and the location during the Sturgis rally. The house was beautiful and clean and provided everything we needed for our group of 12. Everything met our needs from appliances to toiletries and linens. My only suggestion would be larger coffee cups. There’s a store nearby for groceries and close to Deadwood. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this house and neighborhood . Host was very responsive too

Overall, the house was exactly what we needed. They did provide enough toilet tissue, paper towels, towels, and dishwasher soap for our stay. The only problem we had was with the in floor heat. It took us about a day to get that figured out.
