Riverside Serenity

A well-appointed spacious, comfortable and clean retreat. The quiet river setting was very much enjoyed after a fun and busy day sightseeing in the area.

Great get away

Great location, everyone loved the house and the grounds. There were 6 of us and 3 seniors so layout with bedrooms on main level was a bonus. We enjoyed seeing 3 Canadian Geese families sharing the yard. Would be a lovely place to stay in the warmer months to enjoy the water.

A nice cottage like home

The location is very good, and the owner provides everything you need in the cottage, it give us the feeling of being at home. Bring your food and drinks, you will have a nice stay there.

Excellent stay, recommended

The cottage is super well equipped. My family and I are used to bringing kitchen staples with us (like sugar, oil, condiments, etc.) but to our surprise everything was there ready for use. The whole place was very clean (incl. Linens). I would visit again and recommend. Location is great, close drive to hiking trails, brewery and Gananoque town but secluded enough that we were able to relax in front of the river. Big thank you to Kylie our host who was super responsive and answered all my questions in no time.

The kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Although we did not bring pets, it was set up for furbabies. The outdoor set up was great! We relaxed and had some good laughs.

It is a beautiful home in a great location close to everything. Very peaceful on the river. It provided all comforts of home with a fully stocked kitchen. The beds and couches were very comfortable. There was nothing that we missed during our stay. Would definitely return should I find myself back in Gananoque.

The property is as advertised, actually that is not true, it is better.We were a party of 10 adults ranging in age from 25 to 89, with a variety of requirements and this property exceeded all our needs.

The cottage was certainly stocked with everything we needed which was much appreciated. Our only suggestion is that some of the items in the fridge should be reviewed and thrown out.

Comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked, extra blankets. River view was great. Only about 10 minutes into town. Host has an online welcome guide that works. Garbage requirements upon checkout difficult to interpret and restrictive so we took recycling home with us rather than risk host charging us.
