Tout simplement parfait

Nous avions déjà passé une semaine chez Philippe il y a quelques années et c’est avec plaisir que nous avons à nouveau loué cette maison très bien équipée ,au calme, proche de l’océan et des pistes cyclables. Presqu'île magnifique

Super presqu'île, maison correcte, vu le prix du séjour hors saison nous nous attendions à une location mieux entretenue mais nous avons passé un séjour agréable quand même.

Wonderful Summer Holidays

We have spent the most relaxing and wonderful summer holidays in this beautiful and charming house. Our host gave us a very warm welcome, the house is well equipped and very well located near to the beach and town center. We will definitely come back! Emplacement idéal et très confortable

Habitué du Cap Ferret depuis une quinzaine d'années, sans hésiter le meilleur logement jamais loué au Ferret. Emplacement idéal, les équipements sont au top, les lits sont hyper confortables, la terrasse très agréable. Juste à côté du départ des pistes cyclables. Merci à Antoine pour son accueil

Pour de vrais vacances sans voiture

Tout est prêt en arrivant. Pas de stress les commerces la plage a proximité. Quelques soient les âges chacun s’approprie son espace. Tout y est terrasse, barbecue ou plancha. Il ne manque rien. Et de pouvoir tout faire a pied c’est un luxe. Pour aller a arcachon on prend le bateau. Pas de voiture pendant tout le séjour.

Very nice house

We very much enjoyed staying in Antoine’s property. It was modern and nicely decorated. Well equipped with everything you need. Basics like oil, salt and pepper, washing-up liquid, toilet roll, tin foil were all provided (or at least left there by previous guests) and this was a nice touch. The terrace/deck with electric awning is very pleasant, quite private and is well lit. We visited in October and the house was perfectly warm during the few colder days we experienced. The bed was comfy too. Location wise, it is close to all the attractions of Cap Ferret. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house.

Great property in a perfect location

We had a great week with our two kids in Antoine’s property. The property is much bigger than the photos suggest and was very spacious for the four of us, and I would suggest it would be more than adequate for six people. The interior is modern and very clean and all essentials are included i.e. bed linen. There is a large deck in the relatively small back garden which is great for outdoor dining and all BBQ paraphernalia is provided. Parking on the road is no problem but it is also possible to park on the property. The local ‘petit train’ passes past the property (which our kids loved) but you don’t really hear it when you are inside or out on the deck in the back garden; the road the property is on is otherwise very quiet. The location of the property is perfect. The nearest beach (Plage de L’Horizion) is less than ten minutes’ walk away and has two beach cafes and a surf school. The waves are big, which is great for the surfers, but could be a bit hazardous for small kids (endless wave jumping done by our kids!); lifeguards do patrol a section of the beach however and are very hot on keeping the surfers out of the bathing zone. We also visited Plage de la Vigne which is a five-minute drive away; this is a much smaller beach next to a small marina with a roped off swimming area with a platform that folk can swim up to. The water is very calm and shallow but the current can be strong so you might feel yourself drifting if you head out a bit further for a swim, however the rope cordon will stop you drifting too far! There are also lots of other beaches to explore within the area. The jetty from which boats take you across to Archachon is 15 minutes’ walk from the property and there are several nice bars and restaurants in this area. The boat ride to Archachon takes about 30 mins and is well worth a trip (costs about six euros per person each way). There are several boutiques and restaurants all within a 15-minute walk of the property so car not essential once you are there. The roads are great for cycling (local hire available) and there are lots of cycle tracks through the forest areas. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Excellent! Great location, excellent host.

We really enjoyed the house in our family holiday. This house is close to the beach, market, little train station and all attractions in Cap Ferret. It was fully equiped with all you need to cook, etc. We would stay here again without looking elsewhere if we ever go back. Antoine is very responsive and an excellent host. You will not be wrong if you choose this property.

vélos conseillés si vous voulez éviter la voiture, la plage de l'horizon est à moins de10min à pied, la maison est toute proche du départ des pistes cyclables; la maison est agréable, la terrasse est pratique avec un store électrique et il y a un radiateur exterieur de terrasse , finalement on a eu une tres belle semaine donc on s'en est peu servi linge de maison fourni ce qui est bien pratique aussi
