It is simply hard to please everyone. Some write great things about the room being the best they stayed, others like you find it dark, if you open the curtain, it should be bright, unless the weather is gloomy. Likewise some say the room is too bright. I truly apologize if the room did not meet your expectations and I disagree that a price of NZ$ 125 is expensive for 45sqm room with big bathroom, very big comfortable beds etc

Being boutique hotel, we don't have Buffet breakfast only a la carte breakfast which is available in the restaurant with reasonable price. As you said, with the kitchen and cooking facilities available on our 1 Bedrooms, 2 Bedrooms and our penthouses you can simply making your own breakfast. Dear Sandy, Thank you for this review. Being a small boutique hotel, we have a quiet place to ensure that all of our guest get their privacy. You stayed at our studio unit which is 45sqm, located on 2nd floor with no view. This is basic room, with a small patio for smoking/drink coffee and for some of the unit overlooks to the neighbor hotel garden. We do hope that on your next visit you can stay at our 1 bedroom suite (98sqm) located at first floor, where the big terrace facing to the pool and garden. Dear Melissa, Thank you for your feedback. Allow me to inform you that we have installed the UV light gadget at the restaurant with the intention for getting the flies attracted to this light. It is still being tested and we hope this will resolve the fly issues. We did try other option but to no avail. On the breakfast being a la carte we have so many choices like Indonesian, Mexican, American, Healthy, Gluten free, Vegan options.
