Pre-Thanksgiving Family Time

In honor of my mother who passed at Thanksgiving five years ago, my sister and I take our children and grandchildren on a short getaway around this time each year. This cabin was easy to get to, well stocked and beautifully scenic! We visited the Asheville Arboretum for the Troll exhibit and Winter Lights. We made use of all of the fireplaces and really appreciated that they were all easy to use and had a propane connection.

The Cabin was above and beyond anything that we could have ever expected. My wife and I were there for our 19th anniversary and really enjoyed the total privacy of the home. The owners were super responsive with any questions. The hot tub worked great and had the best views morning and night. The house itself was well stocked, very clean and everything was laid out perfectly. This place was certainly a diamond in the ruff and far exceeded our expectations. 10 stars if I could

Fantastic, but driveway a little narrow

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! There were a lot of us (8 adults, 5 kids, and 2 infants) but there was enough room for everyone. The inside of the cabin was absolutely spotless and was very cozy! We had a great time. While it’s true that the driveway right next to the house is paved, the road up the hill leading there is a dirt road with some gravel. It was raining every day of our trip and our cars did okay making it up the steep hills, but in one area the road is narrow enough that two cars going in opposite directions cannot easily pass each other. My sister’s 2017 KIA Sedona got stuck in a ditch after she moved over to let a truck pass, but two good samaritans helped us pull the car out of the ditch. I would recommend future guests avoid bringing wide cars for that reason.

Awesome stay at the cabin - only 20 minutes into downtown Asheville yet feels like a world away. Convenient, spacious (plenty of room for our group of 8), clean, and a very communicative and accommodating host. What more could you want?

The best secluded cabin for a large group!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! There were 9 of us total and there was plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor deck was our favorite! It has a large sectional with a dining table that made for the perfect hang out spot. We also enjoyed a night in the hot tub so it was a nice bonus. The house was very clean and the water was HOT so showers were great! They are no neighbors within eyesight of the cabin so it felt secluded enough without being too far away. We were only about 20-25 minutes outside of Asheville so the location was perfect. If you are looking for the true mountain/cabin vibes for a large group, book now!
