「Our stay was almost perfect. The facilities, amenities and location were outstanding. We were on the second floor and not there for a wedding, so we had loud music below us all three nights until 11:00PM. The people in the room next to us had a dog that would bark occasionally but that happens with pet friendly hotels. If you don't go to bed until 11:00PM it's a perfect hotel.」

「Spectacular, immaculately maintained historic mansion. Suite (Vermillion) was on the 3rd floor, so pack light and/or have a pack mule Billy goat to carry your belongings. Well worth the climb. Spotlessly clean, historic details, the most comfortable bed and pillows, huge bathroom with Vermillion green tiled shower and massive sink. Huge closet with fridge and microwave and plenty of room to store luggage and coats. Could easily get accustomed to early morning coffee and pastries in the sunroom...

「Nice restored mansion with small, but comgortable rooms. Private bathroom & tub/shower combo, with small frig/freezer and coffee maker. A plus was the pot-belly gas stove for warming on cool Duluth mornings & evenings. Overall, very comfortable. Brule Retreat room was up one flight of stairs.」
