「The pre arrival info was perfect, with how to access the property. The cottage is on the owner's grounds, but with it's own entrance and all own facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a little balcony with an uninterrupted view of the countryside. Books and boardgames are available. It's clean, cosy and perfect for exploring Wexford and Wicklow areas. There are lots of places to walk in the countryside within easy driving distance. Gorey town is around 15 minutes away for...

「Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm. Only then did we have the postcode for the Satnav. Overall it was very cosy and well appointed and presented BUT the toilet, although I...

「Overall, the accommodations were adequate. There were just a few issues: 1. The dishwasher leaked on the first day of use -- we were required to wash the dishes by hand for the remainder of the trip. 2. Cleaning services were only offered once during our 8 day/7 night stay, and we weren't told what day it would occur. We were not prepared to vacate and therefore our apartment was not cleaned during our stay. 3. The hot water supply did not seem adequate for our family -- we were constantly...

「We stayed 2 weeks. We loved it! If you have never driven in Ireland, I recommend staying off the roads that start with an R as much as possible. This place has two ways in and out of for sight seeing. When you exit the gate, turn left. Best way to go anywhere. The place is quiet, and very comfortable! Mel, the owner was amazing and very quick to answer questions and tend to our needs. This place has everything, so not much was needed. Shopping is less than 4 miles away. Food and Kilkenny, are...

「It was a perfect location. Safe and walkable. It would have been nice to have a fan for the bedrooms. The one fan that was there didn't seem to work very well. It would be nice if the check in location wasn't so far from the rental or if you could use a lockbox or code to get in after on-line pre check in. The walking instructions to the apt. weren't the clearest and we walked a long ways out of our way with luggage. But, once we arrived with the kindness of a local person who walked us to our...

「A little bit showing it’s age and therefor shabby. Bits of wood falling off in the kitchen, sofa springs at the end of their life, fuse box buzzing annoyingly, water pressure low. But then there were things that were just poor. Poor design, thoughtless. Like TVs that are rediculously high on the wall, mirrors that are too low, shower doors so big so that its a pain to get in and out of the bath, blackout curtains that don’t actually blackout because they have been mounted poorly and let in...

"A good hotel near Drumcondra with a direct Aircoach to the airport. The staff were nice and friendly. Reasonably priced for Dublin. The rooms are small as expected, but everything was clean and tidy"
