Lovely Home in Quiet Neighborhood

Great place for our family of 11

We loved the location and vibe. The house was very convenient and plenty large for 6 adults and 5 kids. We loved the big driveway area for them to play and the bunk bed room. The bedrooms were very nice.

Not clean at all

Location was great. Room sizes were nice. Apartment above garage smelled musty.Home was not cleaned well at all! Fire the cleaning company. Power went out and generator didn’t work. Couldn’t get direct TV app to work.Beds were comfy!

Perfect House

We traveled with our friends to Chandler Pines and we absolutely loved it!!! We each had a very beautiful and comfy room with our own bathroom!!! We couldn’t get over how perfect everything was!!! We are definitely going back next year!!!

Great house, great location!

We were visiting Leelanau county with 8 of our friends for a week. We are great aficionados of the region and have been coming up and renting houses for the last 12 years. I can definitively say that this was a perfect home base for our week. Easy walking access to Leland was a fantastic feature and it was a quick drive to all our favorite spots. The house is beautiful and we found it to be incredibly comfortable with a well-appointed and spacious kitchen, soft and comfy beds with a ton of closet space and a fantastic porch! We loved the large dining room table for group dinners and we enjoyed using the porch for morning yoga, coffee, reading and evening chats. The Casita was an excellent additional space as well! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and great for morning walks/runs. We had an amazing time and hope to be back next year!

Quiet and walkable location

The house is beautiful and great for a family vacation. It’s very quiet and walkable to both Leland and Lake Michigan. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and great for making family meals.

Walkable to Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau. We brought our golf cart which made the experience even better with our little ones. Home was lovely and we spent every night on the front porch after the evening beach stroll. The kids rode bikes and created dance party shows for the adults. This area and home set the stage for vacations from the past. And the house itself was stocked with everything we needed for fabulous dinners! Overall a fabulous property!

There was enough room for all 12 of us and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other! A couple suggestions: extra blankets, we were there in November and it was cold, and TVs in the additional bedrooms would be so great. Thanks!

Wine Tasting Weekend

Group of eight friends up for a weekend of wine tasting. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, would definitely stay there again!!!! The only minor issues we had was figuring out the thermostat ….. very touchy and NOT a user friendly design. Called the office for some assistance. Very friendly and courteous, but had no clue how to work it…..she read me the how to instruction sheet that was already in the app information. The house was well maintained and overall very clean. I would advise the cleaning company, however, to “look down”….. white baseboards very dirty (especially in bathrooms), tub surround (in master) very dusty equipped with pet spider and glob of something pink (probably gum?) on a rung of a barstool. Overall excellent stay in an outstanding home!!!!

Michigan Visit

I and nine others had a wonderful visit to Leland Michigan. This property was excellent for this get together. It was well maintained with many places for gathering with friends. The location was close to many outdoor activities. I would recommend this property.

Nice house, not a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is very nice and had everything we needed. The family room is a little on the small side for 14 guests. The house is located in a residential area, so you need to keep the noise level down when outside. That's not usually an issue for us because we aren't partying, but one evening when we were out playing euchre on the porch, the neighbor asked us if we could go inside because they were trying to sleep (at 9 pm). The water at the end of the road is not public, you need to walk over a block to get to the public access (a small dock). But the walk to lake Michigan is only 10-15 minutes. Leland is a cool town, I would like to return someday but will find a place on water next time. The main thing that irked me about this rental company is that they only give you a couple of household items (2 trash bags, a couple rolls of toilet paper, a couple of dishwasher tabs, etc.). It's not enough to get you through the week, especially with 14 guests. We called to ask for more trash bags, but they told us we needed to buy them. For $9K a week, I would expect those items to be included.

Loved the House and Location!

Wonderful updated and well-equipped home in a great location near Leland. Important to know that there is no real beach access at the end of the street, but that didn't trouble us.

We loved the idea of the guest cottage, but it was not properly air-conditioned so unable to be used by our oldest teen. Several of the beds were not comfortable and family room seating was limited for such a spacious home. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and the teens loved the use of the paddle-boards. The spacious driveway was perfect for pickle ball and other activities. The home was spotless and well-designed.

Beautiful Home

We had the best fall ladies weekend! The house is perfectly set up for a group. The beds are extremely comfy. The only issue we had was the thermostats (they are a bit tricky) but the responsiveness of the property manager was quick and helpful. Thanks for a beautiful weekend!
