Not in any way a “luxury resort”
Although the hotel is in a nice location near other luxury hotels and villas, this place is not luxury for several reasons and not all worth what they are trying to charge. Our room was ready almost 1 hour after check-in. We found moldy water in the kettle, the toilet seat in the bathroom was totally broken, and the TV had maybe 1-2 working channels with local news. We had to request a cleaning of the room our 2nd day, so it wasn’t done until late in the afternoon. The hotel is very poorly managed and under-staffed. We were alarmed to find the male staff members utilizing amenities - on the first morning we found them sitting on the lawn chairs smoking cigarettes, and even worse, on the second morning they were swimming in the pool in their underwear. Maybe they didn’t expect guests to be up as early as us, but still this is not appropriate!

All of the staff were so lovely and friendly and helpful. They offer a fantastic service where you whatsapp them and they come and pick you up and drop you off when you're ready free of charge. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. The best place we've stayed in our 3 week tour of Bali and neighbouring islands.

Comfortable for a short stay
Overall, it was a good hotel if you aren’t planning to spend much time at your hotel. Our stay at the Padma was comfortable for the price we paid. The road leading to the hotel was under construction, therefore seemed almost impossible to get through. Though this will likely be complete soon. It’s a family run business which is nice because everyone was very friendly, but lacking some professionalism. I don’t think we were expected at check in. The room was fine. Huge main room and an extra empty kitchenette/sleeping quarters. The bathroom could be scrubbed cleaner. WiFi was strong. The air conditioning was strong. The breakfast was included but only two options from the menu, lacking a little.Nobody officially works at the restaurant or pool, you have to flag someone down from the lobby each time you want towels or breakfast. It wasn’t a big deal, I can understand it from a family owned operation. The listing said free area hotel shuttle but we were charged for the taxi service at the conclusion of our stay. We brought up the misunderstanding and they did drop the taxi service charge. Very nice people! Overall, the location is okay. Close to bars on the main strip walking if you cut through another hotel. We didn’t rent motorbikes which is probably our problem and if you are comfortable doing that the location would be completely doable for any activity. Pool was good. The view from the hotel was obstructed by a new construction. They did have someone to help arrange tours.

Worst hotel ever.
We had an awfull time at this hotel. It started with the scooter rental. They rented us a scooter that was broken. After a while the brake blocked and my girlfriend fell. The front office responsible said he was very sorry for his error. The supervisor took us with his car to center and gave us the front office number so we could call him when we wanted to be picked up. Also he said we needed to keep the scooter key until issues where resolved. unfortunatly we couldn't reach the hotel front office because he didn't have network conection so we needed to walk the entire end back. Again he was sorry. That night we got back from dinner and noticed that people went through our stuff (bags in our room). We notitied the front office Again and he was aware that three people have been through our bags looking for the key. (which the supervisor told us to hold on for now.) He appologiesed for the miscommunication. When we told him we got sick of all the excuses, he immidiately threatened us to call the Police. Besides all this we have also been scammed with boat ticket prices (after confronting them they returned the money we paid too much) and we got sick from the food at the restaurant. The rooms are filthy. Reasons enough to choose a different hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights and found it very good and would happily stay again. Strong air conditioner and fast wifi which is hard to find in Lembongan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good with excellent views over the bay and beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Padma Kumala, the staff were all lovely & very helpful. Allowed us to stay in the room till our transfer picked us up, hours after check out, which was much appreciated.

Alles nur kein Luxus. Gute Klimaanlage, gute Betten. Sollte mal geputzt werden. Instandhaltung mangelhaft. Organisation, Service und Frühstück wie in ganz einfacher Unterkunft vor 20 Jahren. Wurde von der Relocation dorthin umgebucht. Sehr schlechte Zugangsstraße oder steiler Fussweg. Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass jemand tatsächlich bereit ist, die angegebenen Preise zu bezahlen.

제발 가지마세요....
이 호텔에서 묵은 하룻밤은 지금까지 가장 끔직한 경험이었음. 넓기만한 방. 구석구석 페인트가 벗겨진 벽. 오래된 가구. 낡은 화장실. 앉기도 꺼려지는 변기시트. 샤워실 쪽 전구는 불이 들어오지도 않고... 물도 잘 안내려가서 샤워하고 한참이 지나도록 물이 가득차서... 거품이 둥둥.. 밤이 되니까 검은색 모기가 천정에 수백마리쯤 달라붙어있는데,,, 흰색벽과 대비돼서, 지카바이러스 염려와 함께 공포심을 불러일으키고. 액체 모기향을 껴앉다시피하고 챙겨간 모기기피제를 들이붓고 잤음. 체크아웃하면서 프론데스크에 얘기했더니 에어컨 켜놓으면 상관없는데... 이런소리만 들었음. 바다까지 내려가는길도 너무 멀고 외져서 스쿠터가 없이는 숙박이 불가능하고 있더라도 저녁에는 혼자 다니기 무서움. 레스토랑 음식은 맛없고 양이 적었으며 손님이 없어서 스산하기까지함. 밥 먹다가 휴대폰 충전하러 잠깐 방에 들렸더니 호텔직원이 방을 닦고 있었음. 저녁시간에 고객한테 묻지도 않고 문열고 들어와서 청소하는 호텔은 난생 처음임... 굳이 장점을 찾아보자면, 직원들이 가드닝을 참 부지런히 열심히 한다는점. 그리고 덕분에 수영장이랑 정원은 꽤 잘 관리되어 있다는 점.

Quiet location with great views
All the staff here were all lovely and would help you with any problems. The hotel itself is nice enough, quiet location with a great view. Walking distance to other restaurants within 5/10 mins. You are high up so have to tackle 133 steps however so might not be suitable for some. The hotel arranged a scooter for us which was perfect for getting round the island so wasn't an issue for us. The bed was very comfy and clean however considering the hotel is only 2 years old it did seem a little run down, but this is indo so this is the case most mid range hotels. Eg.. Tiles were missing on the sides of the pool. The basin, toilet & shower looked dirty, they just needed some bleach to clean it up. it would'nt stop me from staying here again, just don't expect the place to be spotless when booking. Breakfast was good

Disappointment
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was a disappointment. The shower did not work, nor did a couple of the light fixtures. Would like to see some improved cleanliness in rooms and pool. Breakfast was sub-par but unfortunately that was not a surprise. This place has potential but needs some TLC!!

Bra hotell, skulle kanske inte kalla det lyx, som i namnet på hotellet. Men ett bra och prisvärt 3 stjärnigt hotell. Bra service, trevlig personal och hjälpsamma. Rena rum, det enda att klaga på var handfatet där vattnet inte rann ner ordentligt och duschen som var klen stråle och inget varmvatten, men över lag ett bra hotell!

Hotellet er spritnyt - kun et år gammelt. På badeværelset var der dog allerede fugt i krogene. Der var virkelig langt til en strand og man skal gå af en farligt skrånende sti for at komme dertil. Hotellet er sådan lidt som gennemsnittet - der er ikke noget særligt over det, hverken udseendesmæssigt eller indretningsmæssigt. Det var ikke engang særlig balinesisk. Det er pænt og nydeligt og lidt kedeligt. Det var lavsæson og derfor var vi de eneste på hotellet - det kunne mærkes på personalet, som var søde, men vist kedede sig lidt.

Families adjoining rooms do not mean adjoining!!
We booked an adjoining room (to accommodation myself, husband and son (14)) which the website (wotif/hotel) sold as 'adjoining - ie main room and small attached room or alternatively 2 rooms with internal door between) however upon arrival and check-in at the hotel, we discovered that no such thing existed within the complex and the hotel had booked us two completely (2) separate rooms and had charged us for both rooms. Obviously not what we had booked (as we had been lead to believe) as travelling with a child, you do not expect them to be in a completely separate hotel room a couple on other side of hotel. When attempting to discuss this issue with hotel and to be fair, whilst the staff tried very hard to understand , their solution and outcome was putting a mattress on the floor of our room with the other unit remaining empty (although we had already paid for it). Furthermore and according upon further inspection of the hotel, there was no such accommodation as 'adjoining'. Due to the false advertising/sales of accommodation/room configuration, we were forced to locate and book into a hotel that could accommodation two adults and one child (adjoining room) and had to pay in excess due to the short timeframe. We are now attempting to get a full refund for this booking on the basis of false advertising and the out of pocket expense we had to pay due to the rooms we had paid for non existence.
