Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again!」

「I rented the Cabin to have some solitude, peace and quiet. It was all of that. The cabin is clean, quaint, beautiful, and set up really nice. 「Well kept, older modular home. The place grew on me. It was early spring so the straight was readily visible. The driveway is quite steep. 「Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving.」

「The house is on a small cove with beautiful views of the cove and ocean. The porch is delightful in the morning or evening. Quiet area, the road in dead-ends just past the house. Nice walk along the road or on the beach areas. Bob, the owner, was helpful in offering suggestions on local festivals and restaurants. A number of nice hikes on the neighboring Isle Madame. It is quite a remote property which was a little nerve wracking at first as our signal was limited but the setting is worth it. Only about 20 mins to St Peters.
