Casa Amarilla is a comfortable two-bedroom, one-bathroom beach house with everything you need for a relaxed stay by the ocean.

The house includes:

• 2 private bedrooms
• Queen-size bed in each bedroom
• Air conditioning in both bedrooms
• 1 full bathroom
• Kitchen
• Living room
• Private patio
• Private swimming pool
• Starlink Wi-Fi
• On-site parking
• Beach approximately 50 feet from the house

The house comfortably accommodates 4 guests.

Accommodation for up to 6 guests may be available by prior arrangement, with additional sleeping arrangements provided. Additional guests are $10 USD per person, per night.

There's no sharing with a hotel full of guests and no searching for a lounge chair. The pool and patio are yours to enjoy throughout your stay.

Walk out of Casa Amarilla and you're approximately 50 feet from the beach.

Playa Tesoro is very different from Nicaragua's busy resort and surf towns. Our oceanfront property is quiet and uncrowded, with long stretches of Pacific coastline to explore.

Walk the beach, swim, surf, look for shells or simply find a place to sit and watch the waves.

And don't miss sunset.

Love to surf — or want to learn?

The Pacific is right outside your door.

Surfing is available directly at Playa Tesoro, and surf lessons and board rentals can be arranged.

Whether you're an experienced surfer or trying it for the first time, there's something pretty special about walking out of your beach house and heading straight for the waves.

TESORO TURTLE HATCHERY

One of the most special parts of staying at Playa Tesoro is our sea turtle hatchery.

During turtle season, eggs are rescued from poachers and protected in the Playa Tesoro hatchery until the baby turtles are ready to make their journey to the Pacific.

Depending on the timing of your visit and nature's schedule, you may even have the opportunity to witness a sunset turtle release.

Our hatchery is a non-profit conservation initiative funded entirely through donations.

STAY CONNECTED — OR DON'T

Casa Amarilla has Starlink Wi-Fi, giving guests reliable internet access even in our secluded beachfront location.

Work remotely, stay connected with family, stream your favourites on your own device — or close the laptop and forget the rest of the world exists for a while.

LAUNDRY

Casa Amarilla does not have a private washer or dryer.

However, laundry service is available on-site for an additional fee, so longer stays are easy.

GETTING HERE — PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

Part of the beauty of Playa Tesoro is its secluded location.

We are located on Nicaragua's Pacific coast near Salinas Grandes, away from the crowds and nightlife of the country's larger tourist destinations.

The final portion of the journey to Playa Tesoro is along an unpaved rural road, and road conditions can vary depending on the season.

We recommend contacting us before arrival for current road conditions and transportation advice.

Transportation to Playa Tesoro can also be arranged for an additional fee.

If you're looking for restaurants, nightlife and shops outside your front door, Playa Tesoro probably isn't the right destination for you.

But if you're looking for an uncrowded beach, warm Pacific water, surfing, wildlife, spectacular sunsets and somewhere genuinely quiet — you've found it.

FOOD & GROCERIES

Casa Amarilla has its own kitchen, allowing you to prepare meals during your stay.

Because Playa Tesoro is a secluded destination, we recommend purchasing your main groceries before arriving.

Our small on-site Tienda Tesoro carries a selection of drinks, dry goods, canned goods and basic essentials.

There is currently no full-service restaurant at Playa Tesoro, so please plan your groceries accordingly.
