Quaint and cozy, studio beachfront cabana

This studio beach front cabana features a queen bed, ceiling fan, closet and a bathroom that has toilet, sink and shower. The cabana also has a bar sized fridge, water kettle and water dispenser. There is a brick barbecue out front for your use as well as a hammock should you wish to relax under a star lit sky.

The cabanas are serviced by our onsite staff with a beach front restaurant and bar on the property. As well, we have a lovely rancho where you can sit and relax, visit with other guests or engage in a game of pool.

Or, maybe you wish to explore the 24 mile river system at the backside of the Playa Tesoro property. We offer estuary tours as well as Tamarindo River tours and you have the option to stop and have lunch at the restaurant that is at the top of the river. We are located on a pristine pacific ocean beach between Salinas Grandes and Puerto Sandino, Playa Tesoro is southwest of the City of Leon, about a 45 minute drive away.

The ocean offers excellent surfing, swimming and boogie boarding. There are several quality Surf breaks. For instance, at the south end of the peninsula 4.3 kilometers down the road is Freight Train. Freight Train is a famous, world class wave and in the top 4 in Nicaragua. There are beginner beach breaks out front of the house.

There is a community grocery store en route to Playa Tesoro about 10 minutes away. There are 8 finished houses at Playa Tesoro available for rent at this time. They are situated close together well within eye sight.
