“We had a great vacation at Hideaway! The house is so cozy and beautifully decorated. It was clean and fully stocked with supplies. There are so many amenities that we didn’t have time to use them all! (Kayaks, paddle board, game shed, crabbing, fire pits, pizza oven…) The owners have thought of everything you’d need or want, plus more! We loved the quiet beach and how close it is to the house. We can’t wait to return again!”

“A great weekend in a great setting. The place was cute and bright, in a quiet neighborhood, and right on the water. We caught & steamed crabs, we sat out on the deck and watched the water, we cooked dinner, saw shooting stars from the hot tub. Kitchen very well stocked with good tools. Dedicated easy parking. Dog loved it. Neighbors were quiet, and also out catching crabs like us. Bald eagles flying around. Plenty of towels. In terms of location, it's an hour from Washington's birthplace, Pope's……

“Quaint cottage by the bay. Short walking distance to small beach. Home was clean and had everything we needed. It was just my husband and I so plenty of room. We are older so hill down and back up to beach with a full wagon of chairs etc. was pushing limits but close enough to drive down to drop off and pick up. All and all was a relaxing time. We love this area of the bay! Thanks to our great host for providing this vacation for us. ”

“I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. I loved the lot - so much space on 3 of the sides without being right on top of another house! The bay view off the side of the house really topped it off! The house was incredibly clean inside. As an unexpected surprise, there’s an auto ice maker in the freezer, saving me from having to make a trip to a store with the kids for……

“Our stay at Blue Crab Cottage was absolutely perfect! We were in town for a wedding in Waldorf, and this cottage was the ideal place to stay—peaceful, beautifully located, and just the right distance from everything.The home was spotless, well-kept, and had everything we needed, including on-site laundry which was a huge bonus. One of the best parts was that they allowed dogs, so our furry friends got to enjoy the trip too!The views of the Wicomico River were stunning—sunsets were truly some of……

“We had a wonderful few days at the Little House as part of a longer week exploring VA and WV. The cottage was inviting and well equipped (even Band-Aids!). The property was tranquil with great water views. It was in a secluded area yet a short drive to nearby towns. We enjoyed use of the kayak, relaxing on the porch, and listening to the rain hit the roof on our last night. Rob and the neighbors are welcoming and friendly. ”

“Very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. Not much traffic and walk to a small beach. Had everything we needed for a good stay and to cook some meals. One issue which really nothing could be done for was the constant drone of the neighbors ac units. It made enjoying the porch difficult and it was a lovely screened in porch. Very close to Calvert cliffs fossil hunting locations. Would rent again. ”

“This home sits right on the water! It is beautiful! We watched ships roll by, ducks bobbing on the water, and flocks of geese flying and landing on the water. The view from both lower and upper decks are amazing! We spent lots of time on the decks even though it was cold - we just covered ourselves with blankets. The hosts are wonderful people, always kind and patient, and gave great recommendations on shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. They were very communicative and answered all my……

“My friends booked a last minute staycation to catch up in one place. This place had all the amenities to bring groceries and hunker down for the weekend. The grounds were gorgeous and all the home spaces were cozy. Also, the owner was incredibly communicative before the stay and when we had a few questions during. “A gorgeous property perfect for a quiet getaway from the city noise. The cottage is very charming, and perfect for two people. Very clean, accommodating, private and peaceful. The private beach is beyond charming and the local spots are amazing. We recommend the frying pan and highly HIGHLY recommend the spider hall farm stand (get the apple cobbler). Nonetheless the cottage is truly amazing and a perfect get away. ”
