"My wife and I loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. We greatly appreciate their ability and willingness to communicate with us in English. The room was very clean and everything we needed was a short walk from the property. The included breakfast was amazing. Not like the typical cheap breakfast you get in the States. "Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. "

"The setting of the hotel is beautiful; however, the hotel is not particularly equipped to deal with international guests. My experience in August was anything but relaxing with screaming Italian children at the beach, unattended and unsupervised by their parents. The restaurant serves the same thing every day (i.e., pasta dishes), and the food is just average. I left two days earlier than scheduled.
