This home is positioned high on the mountain and overlooks the beautiful valley. It easily accommodated our 10-member family. The kitchen, dining and living areas provided a great space for us. The 7-bedrooms were spacious as well.Steve was a wonderful host. This is a greatPlace to stay for large groups.

The views are absolutely breathtaking and are the highlight of this property. The home itself is incredibly spacious and perfect for families. We actually toured the house about a year ago before booking and noticed that the owners have continued making improvements and keeping up with regular maintenance. Everything was in excellent condition.The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—we prepared several meals and never found ourselves needing anything that wasn’t already there. The laundry room was also a huge convenience, especially for a family stay.The large living and dining areas are fantastic for gathering, and there are multiple outdoor dining spaces as well. The decks deserve special mention: the upper deck offers unobstructed, open-air views, while the covered lower deck lets you enjoy the scenery even if the weather isn’t perfect.All of the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless and well stocked with towels and washcloths. We especially appreciated having the laundry room available so we could wash items as needed during our stay.I noticed some previous reviews mentioned that the large room on the first floor was wasted space, but we completely disagreed. It was perfect for our kids to have their own area to play while the adults relaxed upstairs.The road up to the house can be a little intimidating if you’re not used to steep mountain roads, but trust me—it is absolutely worth the drive.Thank you to the hosts!

Steve was very accessible. He provided the towels and kitchen utensils we asked for. I think he should inform his guests that his driveway is very long, narrow, and steep. Some people would probably prefer to drive up there in a four wheel drive. There is a fantastic view from the house!

Extended family of 13 stayed for over Labor Day weekend and we had a wonderful time. The views are STUNNING and with two levels of wrap around porches you almost feel as though you’re in a treehouse Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and one lovely rainbow, wildlife sightings daily, and total peace and serenity. Comfy beds, plenty of seating for large groups. We spent most of our time in the cabin together, but Pipestem State Park is just down the road and the cabin is only about 20 minutes to Princeton, WV

Amazing getaway

This was our 4th or 5th stay, and we'll be back for more! Amazing accommodations for a large group getting together. It would be nice to have some reflectors along the drive up the hill (it's so DARK at night), but we look forward to our stay each year!

Wonderful Views

The views from the property were incredible. Stephen was great showing us around and helping with the WiFi. Plenty of room to relax and spread out, as well as gather together. This place is perfect for large groups, who enjoy an out of the way location with spectacular views.

Love this place

Plenty of rooms and baths and the porch and location is great. This is actually our second time staying here. The owner lived next door and is amazing and very quick to respond if you need him. He also stays on top of making sure the drive is safe with the snow.
