Our cottage is an old farmhouse completely redone in 2011, the decor is neat and warm, with lots of light, facing south, (picture windows and velux), all comfort.

Very good stereo, many cd to listen, television and English channels. Dishwasher and washing machine.

The view is clear on the Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi and the glacier Taconnaz, the cottage is facing south, and although we are not far from the white road, the environment is quiet and pleasant.

We are in village area, surrounded by 'year - round' inhabitants, charming and discreet.

Terrace equipped with large table, parasol, deck chairs, barbecue and garden. There are 3 bedrooms and sleeps 7, but there is no dining table inside so we consider it perfect and very comfortable for 5 people.
Attention there is 75 € cleaning fee in addition to pay directly to the person who takes care of it at the end of the stay.

Important note: Only one animal (well educated) per stay is allowed on the property. The prior authorization of the owner is necessary.

Le logement est vraiment sympa.Etage inférieur: 3 chambres suffisamment spacieuse, particulièrement la chambre "parentale", 1 autre chambre lit double ok, 1 autre avec 3 lits simples pour enfant avec commodeEgalement salle de bain (baignoire douche double évier) et 1 WC séparéEn-haut: cuisine bien équipée, 1 salon agréable, 1 WC séparé et un coin "jeux". Suffisamment spacieux et très cosy. Le charme d'un chalet avec du confort. Pour plus que 4 personnes, l'espace pour manger est limité. Je pense qu'une table pliable d'appoint (pour 2 personnes) serait pas mal.2 places pour se garer à l'extérieurChien accepté, ce qui n'est pas facile à trouver.Un rapport Q/P vraiment très bon pour la région et la période.Logement très propre.Si nous repassons, nous reviendrons et nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés. Un grand merci pour ce séjour!

Ein Traum

Dieses Chalet ist einfach ein Traum!! Wir waren im Juli bei bestem Wetter dort und konnten beim Essen auf der Terrasse täglich das Mont-Blanc-Panorama genießen.Es ist alles vorhanden, von der Wäscheklammer bis zum Johannisbeerstrauch am Stellplatz :-)Taconnaz ist sehr gut an Bus und Bahn angeschlossen, sodass das Auto bequem stehenbleiben kann.Trotz der Lage nahe einer Landstraße war es sehr ruhig.Die Kommunikation mit Valérie war prompt und perfekt. Es hat alles prima geklappt.Fazit: Dieses Chalet ist UNBEDINGT empfehlenswert!!!

Wonderful place

We came as a group of family & friends for trail running and hiking. It’s a wonderful cozy chalet, well equipped and with a splendid view on Mont Blanc. Another bonus, especially in summer, is the garden and veranda.

Wonderful location!

We had a truly memorable week in the Alps! Taconnaz was the perfect base; there are stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif from the property itself and it is within minutes of Chamonix and the various cable cars in the valley - we used a car mostly, but public transport connections are excellent. We were able to make forays to Lake Geneva and into Courmayeur and the beautiful Val Ferret in Italy via the MB tunnel. Communication with the host via the VRBO site was clear throughout (except for my own confusion about payment to the house keeper - sorry Valerie!!). The property was just as described, with plenty of space for my wife and I and our two teenage sons. We were there in July / August, and the upstairs room was hot, but the bedrooms, which are downstairs, remained relatively cool. The facilities were great. Many thanks, Valerie, for a fantastic week.

Acceuil simple et pratique. Le chalet est très beau, la vue est extraordinaire. Les chambres situées au rez permettent de bénéficier de fraicheur pour les nuits d été de plus en plus chaudes , malgré l altitude. Bref superbe semaine de vacances.

Sejours noel premier de l'an à chamonix

Super sejours, chalet très bien placé. Mieux qu'a chamonix car moins de monde. Le chalet et vraiment top, tres propre et convient pour une famille de 7 personnes. Rien a dire sur la vue !!!! Juste magnifique. Mont blanc plus aiguille du midi. Nombreuse activiter à proximité... Et hotes très chaleureux. 👍👌😁

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans le chalet, à 4 collègues. Le chalet est bien équipé et très bien situé : départ de randonnée possible à pied depuis le chalet, ou bien l'arrêt de bus très pratique à 4 minutes à pied qui dessert la vallée. Un super séjour!!

Séjour les Houches

Le chalet est exactement comme décrit sur l’annonce et les photos. La vue sur l’aiguille du midi est super sympa et la proximité de Chamonix est parfaite. Le chalet est un peu trop proche de la route mais le bruit ne nous a pas dérangé. Je retire une étoile car dans l’annonce il y avait une lave linge (critère important pour une semaine avec des enfants ) mais en arrivant elle était cassé et malgré le signalement elle n’a pas été remplacé. Sinon pour tout le reste rien a dire ! Très propre et super bien équipé !

Fantastische locatie

Een heerlijke cottage van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed contact met de eigenaren, snelle reactie. Het voelt als een tweede thuis. De locatie is geweldig, aan de voet van de Mont Blanc in een heerlijk rustig dorpje. Chamonix op 5 minuten afstand. Een knus en gemoedelijk ski-oord. Kom je niet voor het skiën, dan zijn er genoeg andere activiteiten in de omgeving en Chamonix. Wij hebben genoten met 2 kinderen en een hond. Het weer is niet belangrijk, sneeuw, zon of regen, het is altijd prachtig. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Schöne Skiferien in Les Houches

Die Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich und persönlich eingerichtet und dabei geschmackvoll, es gibt viele liebevolle Details zu entdecken. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Den Garten haben wir wegen der Jahreszeit nur sehr wenig benutzt. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut und schnell. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen!

Magnifique petit chalet près de Chamonix

Petit chalet adorable aux Houches, avec vue extraordinaire sur le Pic du Midi, confortable et propre pour 6 personnes à 5mn en voiture ou en bus de Chamonix. Nous avons passé une super semaine en famille. Plein d’activités à proximité. Notre hôte, Jean-Pierre, est plein de petites ressources (ses notes sur ses cahiers à propos des restaurants ont été très précieuses.) Très serviable, il nous accueillis avec une bouteille de rosé et nous a aidés avec pleins d’infos. Point fort de cette location outre la maison: tous les petits produits nécessaires (sel, huile, café…et plus) sont présents dès votre arrivée, ce qui permet de s’installer et de profiter tout de suite de la maison. Il suffit juste de les remplacer lors de votre départ. Seul bémol, le chalet est situé près de la route principale qui mène à Chamonix et peut être parfois bruyant le soir avec les voitures qui passent (nullement dangereux) mais ce n’est pas l’aéroport non plus. Points forts: sa vue, sa location à proximité de Chamonix, sa connection wifi, sa beauté et son confort. Nous y reviendrons quand nous séjournerons une nouvelle fois sur les Houches.
