"A nice Provençal house with a large and clean pool with views! Even though the pool is shared with one other house located on the property, you still feel very private. Patrick, the property owner, lives on site in his house and is available to accommodate any requests. He would also give you plenty of tips of “local” places to visit, thank you so much for that. "Pros: On a beaucoup adoré la décoration intérieure des chambres. Chaque chambre avait sa propre touche personnelle. Il faut aller voir:) C'était un séjour magnifique dans "un gratte-ciel médiéval":). La maison était vraiment très spacieuse. On n'offre plus de petit-déjeuner mais ce n'est pas un problème, il y a une boulangerie juste à coté. Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, et la cuisinière à gaz nous a permis de préparer d'excellents dîners."

"Pros: Le gite est parfait pour une grande famille avec 4 chambres indépendantes et 2 salles de bain. La maison est très bien équipée. L’accueil est très agréable. La maison était très propre et parfaitement entretenue. Nous avons même plus profiter de la piscine malgré la fraîcheur. Pour résumer, c’était parfait."

"This is truly a pretty little house and I loved it! The house in essentially in the center of the village - nearby is the market area, shops, places to eat and buy food. The house is narrow- very old - with windy staircases which just add to its character. The hosts were easy to deal with and while we didn't use it, there was a washing machine. We opted to stay overnight in Aups vs Moustiers Sainte Marie which is much more touristy. Everyone was friendly."

I'm sure they are trying...

"I hate writing negative reviews, but if I saw a review like this, I would 't have made the mistake of staying. Its rare the rating system on this site fails me, but holy carp, this was not good. 6.0 at best. Didn't feel right when we pulled up in the neighborhood, no one at check-in, but keys stapled to the wall. The room was no frills, which was fine, but even the common areas were 2-star. AC not working well was the icing on the cake. We almost left, but it was just a quick crash for the night , shower and leave early in the morning. At half the price, maybe, as that would told you exactly what the place was. "

"Warning at the end! This was a lovely hotel in the heart of a charming town. The front desk person was an angel and the manager was great. Our room was spacious, compared to others we stayed in during this trip. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked fine. Very nice breakfast. The hotel only had 10 parking spaces and they were all occupied. Fortunately I was able to park on the street across from the hotel because it was a Saturday night and the parking ban there was not enforced that late or in the morning. Moral of the story: Get there as early as possible so you can grab a space. However, the garage is tight so try on-street parking if your vehicle is big."

Beautiful and charming simple hotel

"Great view of the lake, good food and good service. Room conditions need improvement as two electrical outlets didn’t work in our room. Only outlet working was the one for the TV, They brought us an extension cord and unplugged the TV to solve the problem. Room condition and facilities are very basic but I guess that’s what we paid for. "
