  • Elegant Caribbean Villa in the Exclusive Lowlands Estate

    We purchased this villa in 2013 after falling in love with the peaceful beauty of St. Martin. Although we live in Paris, we cherish every holiday spent here in Les Terres Basses with our three children and friends. It’s our home away from home — a place we are delighted to share with guests who want to experience the island’s charm and sophistication.

    This elegant 300 m² villa blends contemporary comfort with the authentic warmth of Caribbean architecture. Recently renovated, it is composed of two adjoining houses set within a 10,000 m² tropical garden in the secure Lowlands Estate.

    Master Suite (Detached House)
    A peaceful sanctuary featuring a 2 × 2 m bed, a private Jacuzzi behind the bed, a spacious bathroom with shower, and a dressing room.

    Second & Third Bedrooms (Garden Level)
    Both open onto the illuminated tropical garden and include a 2 × 2 m bed with en-suite bathroom.

    Fourth Bedroom (Upstairs, Main House)
    A cozy room with the bathroom located on the ground floor.

    All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.

    The villa is just a 10-minute walk from La Samanna Hotel and the stunning Long Bay Beach, one of the island’s most serene stretches of coastline.

    You’ll also be ideally positioned to enjoy St. Martin’s celebrated culinary and nightlife scenes:

    Grand Case and Orient Bay Village, renowned for their fine dining, exclusive restaurants, and flavorful local cuisine

    Simpson Bay and Maho, only 10 minutes away, offering a vibrant nightlife with bars, clubs, lounges, and entertainment

The villa was perfect. It was a last minute booking and the host was very gracious. Beautiful views nestled in an amazing community. I would definitely book Les Terres Basses again.

Fantastic stay at an amazing place. So beautiful and peaceful. The pool is great as is the ability to open the walls of the main villa creating a truly open air living room, dining and kitchen areas. Cupecoy and it's restaurants and market are nearby. Long Beach and Baie Rouge are minutes away. The location is great and we loved our stay!

Wonderfull Host

The property was wonderfull and despite a couple of electrical issues, when Valerie was made aware, she responded immediately and rectified the situation so all in all a Wonderfull vacation. Can't say the same for VRBO. Valerie graciously offered and refunded a portion of our fees for the minor inconvenience and VRBO apparently took her money but never gave it to us and that is on VRBO, not Valerie. Great property, great owner and would stay there again.

Villa Azur is great

I love this house. The pool and pool deck are so spacious and comfortable. The villa that houses the kitchen and living area is really an extension of the pool deck which makes you feel like you are always outside. My heaven! Having a separate villa with the bedrooms is a great design for families where some wake up early and some late. Minor critique: The beds are a little quirky and hard to get in and out of because of a wide framing. The lighting in the bedroom could be brighter also. But that’s okay - it’s island living so who cares what we look like in the mirror. 😀

Fabulous House. Some local agency niggles

This is a GREAT house. We loved it, and I highly recommend it. But we had some stressful issues getting access! The house is in a gated community. We were given a key-code to punch in on the gate, but it had no effect. With no 4G signal, and phone not working, we were unable to contact the agent. Turns out we needed a physical remote (code access has been discontinued). So we sat on road for around 10-15 minutes until a friendly resident let us in, (the intercom to the gate help-desk went unanswered). The relief was short-lived. The house has its own electronic gate, for which we had no code! So again we sat - stuck. Eventually the 4G signal returned and in popped messages sent earlier that day... including the missing code (why leave the so late?). We were in! But it made for a stressful start. In the house were the remotes to open the gates, so coming/going during the week was a breeze. But - how to leave at the end? You need the fob to get out... but also need to leave it in the house (obviously!). There were a few other 'odd' things, we thought. No info in the house at all. Zero. Where do we take the rubbish etc? A non-induction saucepan that is useless on the induction hob! Two delightful cleaning ladies who arrived unannounced, and proceeded to empty the dishwasher that was about to be put on and washed it all by hand. Ugh? They visited on 2 of our 7 days. But, again, this is a gorgeous property and (assuming you can get in!) you'll love it! We did.
