"Nous avons réservé pour 16 personnes et nous avons passé un week-end incroyable ! L’accueil avec Romain a été super, la maison est magnifique, tout comme la maison des amis et la grange qui est un vrai plus en cas de pluie !Nous nous sommes baladés dans la propriété où nous avons vu des ânes et chevaux, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable ! La propriété a énormément de charme, nous avons passé de très bons moments conviviales dans le salon, et au bord de la piscine qui était très agréable...

"Un gite confortable et cosy conforme à toutes les photos. On sy sent comme chez soi avec le plateau de bienvenue avec des produits du Perche, les livres (un détail qui fait la différence!), des jeux, le linge de maison inclus et une bonne literie. Rien ne manque. Nous avons passé un très bon weekend au calme et profité du jardin privatif. Parfait pour découvrir cette belle région du Perche! Encore un grand merci pour votre accueil."

"Je tiens à souligner et remercier la flexibilité de Marine qui gère la location. Elle a toujours répondu à mes questions, nous avons pu arriver tranquillement et pas de pression pour le départ. C’est un réel atout. Et aussi la Grange est exceptionnelle. Elle permet de passer du temps dehors même si la météo n’est pas au rendez-vous ! Juste prenez en compte que la maison est partagé avec un studio à côté. Nous avons eu des voisins adorables mais cette information est a prendre en compte je pense...

"Nous avons fêtez nos 30 ans avec nos amis et nous n’aurons pas pu avoir meilleur lieu pour vivre ce moment. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, disponibles et flexibles dans la gestion de notre séjour. Ils sont même aller jusqu’à nous remplacer l’ampoule grillée de la terrasse à 22h! "Annonce disant 7 sdb en fait 3!!! Problématique pour les douches et que l’on atteint le nombre de 28. Cuisine pas adaptée au grand nombre, petite et étroite. Vaisselle non adaptée au grand nombre également. Le reste est très confortable et nous avons beaucoup aimé mais nous avons eu la chance d'avoir beau temps. Sinon cela aurait été étroit. Très Bonne communication avec la personne par WhatsApp. Prévoir un balais terrasse et intérieur."

"My wife has a challenge with her back. As a result we always make some requests regarding the room to ensure the issue is not made worse and also to assist the hotel in the case of an emergency Over the last year we have stayed in a about 30 hotels and not a single hotel has made an effort to satisfy these requests. However, the Hotel des Ducs surpassed themselves and provided exactly what we asked for, and it was all set up when we arrived . Our thanks to the team. The hotel is now a must have stop through France. "

Campanile NATURE - Alençon

"A total revamp of an old Campanile room. Very smart and comfortable. Had wster heater although I think that a kettle would have been more practical. It had a shower over a high sided bath but a walk in shower would have been more accessible. Lovely large king size bed. Restaurant available for guests even on a Sunday evening. Easy parking infront of your room. No upstairs so eady access for all. No noise from upstairs too! Eady access motorway. Quiet industrial estate location. Friendly staff and welcoming. Would certainly recommend and stay again. Thankyou. "

Au fer à cheval

"Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it."

"My 5 year old summed this up best: ‘I wish we could live here!’ The property was idyllic. It was set in huge private grounds that are not overlooked by anyone except horses and donkeys. We had all our meals outside in the sunny courtyard chatting around the large tables and listening to nature, under the shade of the tree, and spent evenings there also under garden string lights. We loved the pool - the kids spent endless hours in it and the adults could relax on the comfy sun loungers under the parasols. There was also a pool cover and the area was gated so very safe for kids. The area was incredibly quiet - we could cycle on the roads from the property without coming across many vehicles, and visited many pretty villages in le perche region and saw beautiful churches, went to nice markets and played mini golf. But we didn’t need to leave the property - there was enough there to entertain us - the pool, table tennis, darts, badminton, bikes, table football, hammocks, swing, river, donkeys, ponds and frogs, games (we loved pickomino!) and tv (that was never turned on!). The accommodation was clean, had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, floorboards were on the creaky side and doorways low for taller guests, but authentically renovated and full of character. What a privilege it was to have spent a week in such a lovely, peaceful place. "
