“Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove……

“What a beautiful property We were a group of 9 adults & it was perfect for our needs . Perfectly clean & centre of everything with a very short walk to the beach & the city centre.The hosts had left us fruit, bread & milk as well as tea & coffee. The communication before was clear & prompt ”

“My family and I had a great one night stay here. We appreciated the multiple bathrooms and two showers, which can be hard to find! The bedrooms were not set up as the photos show, with one bedroom having two beds in it, and one having a bunk bed, instead of each room having one bed in them. But it still worked for our group. The outdoor space was lovely. Important to note to make sure to type in the exact address that ends in "Rd", not "Ave", as there is a street with the same name right next to……

“Plenty of space, more even than we realized! Very clean, mostly well equipped except no corkscrew.... Worked well for our holiday with two families. Could see the beach from the windows, and a quick walk to all the shops in town. We were thrilled with the location! Host very responsive. A little trouble with the sink, faucet loose and sometimes sprayed out if water flow strong, so be prepared....”

“Property was tidy, simple and fairly straightforward in terms of settling in. Once we figured out the heating - no instructions - we got the place warm. An excellent wood burner really made the lounge - plus bringing in two bedside lights for ambient lighting - and was generously supplied with kindling and wood. The walks around the property and up into the woods were ideal for dog walks. The kitchen was pleasant, functional and suitably kitted out, although the fluorescent striplighting was……

“Awesome. So close to St Andrews and also loved the easy walking distance to the village. Pub, grocery store anything you needed really. ”

“Property is ideally located to explore Edinburgh. But the counter surfaces, windows, mirrors and other high touch surfaces were not properly cleaned.”
