「This is not just a place with a bed and a bath, but was an experience. It starts with the peaceful setting that is a bit off the beaten path. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. 「Great place to stay, stayed here quite a few times over the last year or so, has everything you need, always clean and tidy. Never had any issues staying there. Good local amenities all within walking distance.」

「My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. 」

「What a stunning place! We’ve been driving around Scotland for a week this is the only place we said we’d come back and stay as a base to travel from. Our room was enormous, such a bonus to have a kitchen. Beautiful gardens. Thank you to the owners!」

「We loved the house. Plenty of room inside for 10 of us and a wonderful play space on the grounds for little kids. Also, there is a wonderful public playground 5-10 minutes by foot from the house. It’s an easy walk to local shopping and the town center in Musselburgh. By car, we were 25 minutes from Edinburgh city center and the Royal Mile. Two buses that are a 5-10 walk from the house take 20 minutes to get to Edinburgh city center.」

「We really enjoyed our stay. The check in with Isobel was very smooth and easy. The cottage is actually bigger than the front view suggests, as it has been extended at the rear. "Amazing location, way beyond my expectations!!! However I don’t think I’ll live at the top bunk cuz every time I wanna go down it will take some courage… Another thing is that they will need to use passcode and sometimes I can get lost when I first came here. So clean, the restroom just so impressive, quite spacious and they clean it every single day. very affordable, definitely recommend."
