Beautiful cottage

We had the best time staying here , fantastic location and the kids loved the beach and my partner fished everyday in the sea , the cottage was lovely it had everything you would need , we would definitely return .

Wonderful short break

We had a wonderful stay at the Hythe cottage, lots of beautiful beaches and woodland walks. The Admiral pub is fantastic and lets dogs in the bar and lounge. Thank you to the owners, the cottage was well equipped and very comfortable, we will be back.

Beautiful and functional property on a great location

We loved the village and the cottage. It is well equipped, has a spacious master bedroom with the great views, very warm and comfortable. Would recommend.

The accommodation lived up to expectations, very comfortable and well fitted out, good size for a family, if required. Very pretty village which is a great base for touring the area. Loved the beaches. Hosts on hand and very helpful.

Lovely Spot

Had a fabulous stay here. Perfect spot right on the beach. So lovely to wake up to such amazing views from every window. The house itself was much bigger than expected clean and well equipped. Useful back yard to dry off the dog after his adventures on the beach. Lovely village setting with shop and pub and a great area to explore. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A very cute wee house right on the beach with a stunning view. Easy access to the costal paths and East Beach and just a very short walk to the rest of Findochty. Good location for exploring the area. The house is relatively new and although we were 2, it would suit a family of 4.

House is in perfect location, house was spacious and exactly what we asked for, maybe add an outside brush and bin liners. But other than that lovely spot to stay, highly recommend specially if going fishing!

We had a lovely weekend at the property, excellent level of accommodation, good communication with owners pre/post stay. Great location, quite literally close to the waters edge, small inlet/beach near to the harbour. Lovely coastal/beach walks on the doorstep and in close proximity. We would happily return and enjoy on a future occasion. Thank you.

Findochty, my happy place

I’ve been visiting Findochty since early childhood and once again we’ve had a wonderful relaxing holiday. This is the third time we have stayed in this beautifully situated cottage with everything provided to complete our stay. Tom and Ashley have been so helpful especially as we had to cancel our booking with them in the summer and then we were lucky to make a last minute booking with their help.

Well equipped and perfectly situated, whether you just want to relax with a gentle stroll around the streets of Findochty, with its beautiful houses and harbour, or be a bit more energetic and walk along the coastal paths to nearby Portknockie and Cullen in one direction, and Buckie and Spey Bay in the other. Angus, our airedale terrier, had an absolute ball, on the beaches and in the sea every day. Would highly recommend the area, and Findochty in particular, for a perfect week away.

JUST BRILLIANT -CANNOT RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in Aug 23. It is perfect. The town is just lovely and the locals super friendly. If you love golf or walking this is the place and the coastal walks east or west are just breathtaking. The property itself is just as described with everything provided for and, I genuinely mean this, super clean-probably the highest standard we've ever had in a holiday rental. The communication with the owners was second to none. The views from the property were lovely and just across a quiet road you can sit on a picnic bench and enjoy your morning coffee. If the owners ever wanted to sell I'd be at the front of the queue. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic stay in beautiful area in cosy house

My partner, friend, and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming house in the lovely fishing town of Findochty over the New Year period, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of the ocean was truly magical.The location was perfect for our needs, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting while still being close to local amenities. We enjoyed exploring the town and the surrounding area, which offered plenty of opportunities for scenic walks and relaxation.Our hosts were fantastic—responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They provided us with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay, and their attention to detail was evident throughout the house. We felt very well taken care of.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Scotland. Up to visit the grandchildren and youngest birthday

Last minute booking to visit our daughter and grandchildren who stay near Keith, and also to celebrate the youngest’s 4th birthday. Location was perfect. House very clean and warm on arrival. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms too. The village has a dog friendly pub which serves delicious meals. There is also a little, well stocked shop which also sells newspapers and there is a chemist and post office too. All you need on your doorstep 😊.
