“What a fantastic stay at Kintrae B&B! Jackie and Mike are fantastic hosts and cooks! Hotel building is beautiful, room was great, clean, beds are really comfortable. There was a lovely sitting room looking out to the sea. The breakfast was home cooked and fresh, i had the vegan breakfast that was so yummy I couldn’t wait to go to bed just to wake up for another one! Not only do Jackie and Mike cater for vegans with breakfast they also had vegan dinner options that I had the pressure of……

“We stayed for 4 nights and could not fault the hotel,staff or the food . Staff really friendly and took time to speak to us. We had breakfast and evening meal each day...we could not fault any meal”

“It was really special to experience a fisherman’s cottage in a genuine fishing village. Could not have been better than in the home of Cullen Skink. As you would imagine it’s very compact and very homely. It was lovely to listen to the ocean at night and see all the bird life. You aren’t very far from the ocean even if you’re not in the front row. It’s clean, warm and comfortable. Could do with a cheese grater.”

“What a contrast to my last hotel (Balmoral Lodge, Southport ). St Michael's was everything I want from a B&B and more. Beautiful vintage furniture, period features, immaculately clean, lovely owner, great atmosphere. Loved it and the presence of a coffee machine, a fridge and a balcony (looking over the garden) made this a great experience. .
