Welcome to Mitten Ridge Cabin at Vincent Lake (Cabin #2), a spacious and peaceful lakeside retreat set on 250 private acres in Levering, Michigan. This cabin is one of five cabins plus a farmhouse on the property, all sharing exclusive access to a 40-acre private lake and sandy beach reserved for on-site guests.
Spend your days swimming, fishing from the shore, hiking wooded trails, or relaxing by the fire pit as the sun sets over the lake.
The Space:
Designed for families or small groups, Mitten Ridge Cabin (Cabin #2) offers a quiet setting surrounded by nature where guests can relax, explore wooded trails, and enjoy lakeside living. Spend your days swimming at the beach, fishing from the shore, hiking, or simply relaxing outdoors while taking in the natural beauty of the property.
The Cabin
This cabin features three bedrooms and one bathroom and comfortably sleeps up to five guests. Sleeping arrangements include one queen bed and three single beds. The interior is cozy and rustic, offering a comfortable place to unplug and enjoy the surroundings.
The cabin does not have air conditioning; however, the shaded setting, open windows, fans, and natural lake breezes keep the space comfortable for most of the season.

Lake and Property Access
Guests enjoy exclusive access to Vincent Lake and the surrounding 250 acres of private property. The private beach is available for swimming; there is no lifeguard on duty, and swimming is at your own risk. Fishing is catch and release only, and a valid Michigan fishing license is required. Kayaks, paddle boards, and rowboats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and life jackets are recommended. Outside boats, engines, paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes are not permitted.
Each cabin is equipped with Wi-Fi suitable for streaming, remote work, and everyday use.
Amenities and Shared Spaces
Outdoor amenities include charcoal grills and designated fire pits. Charcoal is not provided, and fires are permitted only in designated areas. Guests also have access to a shared clubhouse that includes laundry facilities, a lounge area, games, and a fire pit. Detergent is not provided. Please wash and put away all dishes after use, and do not store food in the clubhouse refrigerator.

Vincent Lake Cabins is conveniently located within easy driving distance of many of Northern Michigan’s most popular destinations, making it a great base for exploring the area. Vincent Lake Cabins offers the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion—close to Northern Michigan’s most iconic destinations, yet peaceful and private when you return at the end of the day.

Getting Around:
A vehicle is recommended, as Vincent Lake Cabins is located in a quiet rural setting. Most guests arrive by car and enjoy the scenic drives throughout Northern Michigan.
Parking is available on-site, and popular destinations such as Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and the Tunnel of Trees are all within a comfortable driving distance. The property is easy to access year-round, and roads are maintained in all seasons.
Winter stays are welcome. Roads are maintained, parking is available on-site, and the cabins provide a warm, comfortable place to relax after enjoying Northern Michigan in the winter months.
Other Things to Note:
Mitten Ridge Cabin (Cabin #2) is one of five cabins located on the property. The lake and surrounding land are shared among on-site guests only.
Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pets must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
Please do not flush wipes or feminine products; plumbing violations incur a $500 fee.
Fireworks and firearms are not permitted on the property.
Interaction with Guests:
Each cabin uses a lockbox with a physical key for self check-in. Lockbox codes are sent 24 hours prior to arrival. Smart locks are being phased in, and if your cabin is equipped, updated access instructions will be provided before check-in.
Guests are given privacy to enjoy their stay, but owners or staff are nearby and available if anything is needed.
